This is from Future Shop in France, which last time is what we got here in the U.S. from Best Buy.

So it looks like Lannister and Greyjoy are the two collectors this year. I thought it would be Lannister and Baretheon, but I guess Greyjoy. Regardless I'm still getting the Lannister one. I assume the backs of them say "Hear me roar" and "We do not sow" accordingly.

I guess the kraken looks more marketable than the flaming heart.
Collector's editions look nice, probably get the Lannister one.

That's not the official Baratheon sigil though, that is Stannis's re-worked one.

The real Baratheon sigil is on the collectors edition of season 1.

Yeah, but since Stannis becomes the main Baratheon representative, why wouldn't they use his sigil?

Baratheon is on the right in the collectors edition. (Bottom on this picture lol)

Well the Stag is still in the flaming heart in his version. Because it is the animal/symbol of his house for generations.

True enough, but considering the fact that Stannis changes his age-old sigil to include a new deity and has little to no problem killing his own brother because of said deity--just putting the old Baratheon stag would seem "off," at least to me.

I'm waiting for a winter-themed/night's watch box cover--probably have to wait until S5 or 6 for that one. :cmad:

Well, Stannis entire claim to the throne is dependent on the fact that his brother was the last king. His house is his claim to the throne.

I got the sense that every Baratheon has their own personal version of the stag banner (Joffrey and Renly seem to have their own). And maybe there is a generic house flag.

The black stag on a gold field is the original House Baratheon sigil. Joffrey, Stannis, and Renly create personalized versions. Another character (will be in season 3) also has a personalized version of his house sigil. [blackout]Brynden Tully aka Blackfish has the Tully Sigil but a black trout instead of a silver one.[/blackout] I think Jon Snow had one, too; a white direwolf on a black field.

The Kraken is quite cool looking. A lot of them are better than real life Middle Age banners. But then Europeans were kind of artistically challenged until the Renaissance.

I have to say, I don't really buy any of the Baratheons in the show as brothers. They look very little alike, and Stannis actually looks older than Robert.

Then again, maybe that's why no one thought Joffrey was odd, none of the Baratheons look particularly related.

I can sort of see a slight resemblance between Robert and Renly, but yeah, Stannis is the odd one out. Stephen Dillane is a good actor, but he looks too old to be Stannis.

Ya but this is not Earth or Europe, it's a different world.

He never looked to old to me, I can see some similarities, but I would say he stand out a little. Like many in my family there is one brother or sibling that is the (mail man's child) lol.

I don't think so, Robert looked much worse, drinking and his other activities did not help. To me Robert looked as old as Stannis just his beard covered it more.

That and in the book/artwork before the show always had Stannis looking much older then his brothers. It happens in the real world and it happens here.

I remember seeing this, and I was like, what the heck was that. I'm still hoping we get some kind of trailer before the new season starts. This is definitely one of my favorite shows when it's on. I wish they'd bump the new seasons up to at least 12 episodes though.

There will be one. 10 episodes is fine. As successful as this show is you have to remember they still have a budget. Shooting on location isn't cheap either. Luckily all the episodes this season run longer.

I demand more Shaggydog in season three.
