Ha, I'm with you on that one brother. Strange situation though because half of me wants it to come back and half of me doesn't... as we'll then be on the final stretch for good and I'll never have new BB to look forward to again once it wraps up next time

Dat Bluray! Can't wait, I still have to show my brother the second season so I'm looking forward to watching it all over againt:

How does the bluray include the DVD? I only see five discs and season ones blu-ray had five discs. Where are the dvds stored in the box? And why would HBO start including the dvd with the blu-ray? Theyve never done that before that i know of.

They've been doing that for a while now. The Collectors Edition of Game of Thrones Season 1 on Blu came out today (which I got for the cool dragon's egg) came with the DVD's. But Boardwalk Empire Season 2 had the DVD's with it. It comes in a little sleeve next to the blu ray book case thing. They are double sided DVD's. HBO is starting to do this with all of their new releases.

The thing in the top right corner is the DVD case, very similar to Boardwalk Empire Season 2's.

I wish I they had started that before the season 1 of Games of Thrones. I would have liked to have had both types of that one.. but I wasn't about to buy it a second time just for the combo pack.

That's interesting. Glad that they're doing that now though.

I did not buy the collectors edition for the cobo pack, I found out about that after I got it lol. I got it because I like collectors edition, I loved the Egg/really liked the Cover with the major family sigils on it (Baratheon, Lannister, Stark, and Targaryen.)

EDIT: It also comes with Episode one of Season 2 on Blu-ray. But honestly I'm not opening this thing, I like to keep Collectors editions sealed.

Oh thats cool that they are in a sleeve and not in the actual bluray case. Would have made for one huge case. Personally i have no use for dvds. Replaced all my players with bluray a few years ago. I may sell the dvds and make back some money.

Eh, I keep em in case friends of mine want to borrow the season but don't have blu-ray yet. It's nice to have.

I like the DVDs because I often lend stuff out and (oddly) not as many of my friends have Blu-ray. They need to upgrade!

I'll probably just stick with the normal releases, but some of the collector's edition stuff looks pretty cool. Plus I don't buy blurays, I just stick with dvd's.

I can't wait for this to be back on, I really like the show. I really liked season 1, and I thought season 2 was good, but that season 1 was better. Super excited about the new season though.

Eh, both seasons are tied to me, maybe because I know some stuff that is going to happen. The thing is book one/season one is more like a prologue, and has a stand alone arch. The rest of the books are pretty intertwined, so Season 2 is like a part 1, and does not really have full resolution. Watching Season 2 a few more times made me love it even more.
