Oh no you di'int. :o

Tyrion would outsmart Loki in a heartbeat. :o

Did Bronn's scene in the brothel with the prostitute serve any purpose? I don't recall any dialogue that revealed plot details. To me it was a major waste of screen time, they better not continue to waste time with pointless sex scenes that go nowhere and reveal nothing or it's going to get old really fast.

Dude, it's HBO. It's gratuitous sex scenes, or no show.

Hell, the fact that there weren't more shows how seriously they take this series.

Like anyone's going to stop watching because of a little extra T&A...

Though, yeah, I wouldn't mind them no longer feeling the need to shoehorn that stuff in either... :o

Sexposition bro, sex scenes can serve a purpose. Sex scenes with no exposition are huge waste of time for a 50 minute show with a huge cast and only a 10 episode season. The producers and writers need to be smarter about this kind of ****.

They are still nowhere near the level of starz for gratuitous sex. And this episode had less than a minute and only showed **** so I think it was fine.

It did tell us Bronn was attempting to lie low and get away from twyrions trouble and a brothel is very much in Bronns characterization so I thought it was a fitting scene to show where he was at post blackwater. As opposed to his first scene being him walking up to Tyrion's room door.

If it helps characterization, I don't mind.

Remember Joffrey and those two wenches?

Just reminded us what a sick **** he is.

It's not about the sex, the sex is just superficial, it's about scenes that don't move the plot forward.

It was plot. It reestablished Bronn as a sellsword. The viewers need to remember this man isn't tyrions friend and he will dump him if he thinks he isn't worth the trouble. After the battle, and him just showing up at tyrions call people might get the illusion he is is his friend or something he isnt. The scene in the brothel followed by the scene on the battlements was his arc in the episode and reaffirmed his character. Thats pretty much what the episode was. Showing were each character is. I think it fit perfectly in the premiere.

I like character beats tho. Anything that strengthens character I'm ok with.

Cant wait to see him slapped again...you know it'll happen again

It it actually quite difficult to create a true villain that the audience almost unanimously wants to die a painful death. Bravo, King Joffrey, bravo.

Episode 9 of this season is called ''Rains of Castamere'' and the season finale is ''Mhysa''

I hope we get more of The National doing tunes as end credits.
