I can't believe I'm saying this, but it'd be cool if Tyrion and Cersei worked together as a team more. I loved their scene in this episode. Obviously, it's because they're both screwed but still.

Bane punching 'Littlefinger' in the throat feels really good, in hindshight. :o

In memory of Ros someone should loop that bit into a 10 hour video on youtube.

Or Kane could make a gif of it. Actually I would prefer this.

Question for those watching the show and maybe those who've read the books: since the first episode, about how much time has passed up to the current episode? Jaime mentions being imprisoned for a year but it got me wondering how much time had actually passed

Sorry to be that guy again but Sam didn't even know how to make a fire. I smiled when the girl said : I was sure you were highborn. Really ?! Dumb and dumber are at work here :)

I liked that scene too, although for a different reason.

Dragonglass. :) Not forgotten after all then, I was getting worried.

I wonder how Varys and LF's interactions are going to change now with [blackout]Ros' death.[/blackout] They both seemed well and truly pissed at each other.

I find it interesting that they stage these Varys and LF moments in the throne room. Its very fitting given their plans and ploys. If I was to place a bet of who would best who it would be in favor of Varys. LF is good at manipulating in Westeros, but Varys's has a power of manipulation and scheming that reaches beyond Westeros's borders. Of the two Vary's holds more pieces at any given time and he doesn't react to things on an emotional basis which makes him far more dangerous in the long run. Peter is too quick to deal out revenge in an attempt to show power.

Varys seems like the only one who gives a damn about the actual country. Everyone else just has their ego.

Hell, given what we've seen so far, it's amazing that the country was ever unified.

If it hadn't been for Aegon and his sisters and their dragons it probably never would have given the political climate and medieval nature of the society. And its going to take a Targaryen and three dragons to unite it once again.

I question if unification really is a good thing. Seems like most could coexist peacefully. Except the Ironborn.

Yeah that seems to be the general consensus on where they're taking the character.

Hmm I suppose they'll write off how Edric and Shireen get along very well too.

Overall another decent episode. The Wall climb was brilliant as was Tywin and Lady Olenna's conversation. Even the end between Varys and Baelish too. I really want that bastard to die despite the fact that he was instrumental in actions we'll eventually see soon lol! And poor [blackout]Ros[/blackout] - never saw that coming, at all!! :(

Glad to see we finally got to see some Dragonglass too.

Have we seen Tommen at all this Season yet? And guess we'll see Myrcella next Season or later when we eventually get to see the Martell's.

The Ironborn and their philosophy of being lazy curmudgeon's stealing what they need really needs to be stamped out.

As for Westeros, Aegon knew that a fist is stronger than a finger. Westeros needs unification, but not under the current houses. They are too vindictive, spoiled, and power hungry. Luckily there are plenty in Westeros and without to fill this position and they are moving around the board. Some haven't even been revealed yet, but they are in play.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have Shireen become an actual motivating factor for Stannis ultimate decision with what to do with the bastard. She and Davos seem to be the closest we're getting to the "King's Men" faction of the Dragonstone followers.

Rain wildfire down on the bastards. All of them. :o

I hadn't really thought much of it, but does anyone know if Westeros has figured out cannon fire yet? I can't remember if its mentioned in the books? Roll up beside Kings Landing or the Iron Islands and shell the bastards.

Also wondering if Bran and Rickon will still get [blackout]split up with Osha taking Rickon elsewhere.[/blackout]

I'm 85% sure it hasn't.

What a shame. Seems like such an intuitive technology that it amazes me how long it took a society to discover it. Given that westeros is a medieval society I'm surprised GRRM hasn't introduced it yet. I imagine [blackout]Victarion[/blackout] would love it lol.

Unless it's something that gains relevance in the later books that haven't been released, I hope they work around it. I enjoy her presence way too much for that.

Spoiler for A Dance With Dragons
Davos is sent to Skagos to retrieve Rickon for Ser Manderly in exchange for Ser Manderly swearing allegiance to Stannis. I could see them making this happen sooner. Send Rickon off at the end of this season and send Davos after him next season bringing him back in Season 5. If they do send him off they will probably show his and Osha's time on Skagos. Something the books haven't done.

Definitely, the guy's a cannonball himself lol

It's pretty rare to see firearms of any kind in this sort of fantasy.

Then again it's kind of hard to date Westeros. Ain't exactly the Renaissance yet.

Medieval guns did kind of suck though - like most things in the Middle Ages.

You were as likely to blow your hand off as actually hit anyone.

I was worried they would kill a major character this week. Luckily it was just Ros.

Come on, you know it is true.

Ah Ser Wyman Manderly - I look forward to his supposed badassery lol!!
