That last part with Dany and Jorah when she said "advisor" and the music stopped... :lmao:

Game of Thrones has been on a brilliant roll for three episodes in a row now. This latest one especially excelled in great dialogue and being one of the best shot episodes yet.

Anyone else wish Jon's red head had fallen? I cant stand her

You kidding? I love Ygritte! Her and Jon together is one of the parts I'm most invested in at the moment. Lovely moment at the end there. :hrt:

One thing I did not get, or perhaps I am misunderstanding something.

Once they got up on the wall, it looked like it was about 12 feet wide from side to side. He takes her 4 feet and shows her the other side of the wall.

When then panned the camera back at the end, it looks really thin.

I was expecting the top to be a lot wider (a few hundred feet?? Judging by what I have seen before). Perhaps they reached a thin part, or perhaps it was just a mistake on their part to show it like that.

why not just tunnel through the wall.. why climb ;)

Question for book readers: If I understand it right, we meet Theon in the first book. In the second book, he goes bad and takes over Winterfell, then gets betrayed. Then he’s completely absent from book 3. He’s absent from book 4. He finally reappears in book 5 covered in cuts and bruises and is all “you would not believe what I have been through!” Something like that?

Yeah that's right. GRRM was simply recollecting the events of Theon and Ramsey during what was going down during A Storm of Swords pretty much. It's looking like Season 3 and onwards will take pieces from the next few books to make the timeline seem more cohesive like what Peter Jackson did with the Two Towers and Return of the King.

I liked how Ramasy used the most horrifying instrument to torture Theon the vuvuzela.

Back when Jon was on top of the wall before in season 1, it was only 10-30 feet.

Robb is an ass to his uncle.

Granted his uncle is incompetent, but at least he's trying. Karstark may have been a murder, but he wasn't wrong. Robb lost the war when he couldn't keep his *** in his pants.

Robb is actually worse than Ned honestly..at least NED was honorable to a fault he was all in. Robb picks and chooses. He should have honored the marriage agreement with the Freys, but he chose love. Then he could have done the right thing and not kill Karstark, but he has to stick to the law.

Come on Robb.

Also wondering if Bran and Rickon will still get [blackout]split up with Osha taking Rickon elsewhere.[/blackout]

I think they are laying [BLACKOUT]the groundwork for the split. Meera and Osha being at each other throats..will allow Osha to go with Rickon..but that pretty much means Rickon/Osha will be written out of the series for a little while, UNLESS they show what Rickon/Osha do once they split. It could be nice.[/BLACKOUT]

Spoiler for A Dance With Dragons
Davos is sent to Skagos to retrieve Rickon for Ser Manderly in exchange for Ser Manderly swearing allegiance to Stannis. I could see them making this happen sooner. Send Rickon off at the end of this season and send Davos after him next season bringing him back in Season 5. If they do send him off they will probably show his and Osha's time on Skagos. Something the books haven't done.

If they do do that, they would need to develop [BLACKOUT]Rickon a little bit, just so we can give a rat's ass about him. Maybe they can develop him a little bit in Skagos?[/BLACKOUT]

There's a button that allows you to quote multiple posts in one post. Just throwin that out there.

I got the sense that Ramsay was trying to clue Theon in about who he was. Theon didn't get it though, because he's just not that clever.

On that last shot of Sansa, I was screaming "SWIM FOR IT, GIRL!" Poor Sansa. The last two seasons have been about robbing her of all hope in her life. She could be frantically working out an escape plan of some kind to reunite with her family, but she just doesn't even seem to care anymore. It's kind of morbidly fascinating.

And whoever kills that ****ing hornblower will stand in bronze above the shores of Pyke!!

Theon has become such a despicable character it's impossible to empathize with him.

This is GOT, though. He's not even close to being as despicable as it gets. :o

That is one thing I wish they had handled better in the show. Theon in the books is actually supposed to be quite attractive, with a rouge-ish grin. He kind of had that kind of charm about him. He still was a little ****, but not quite as bad as they made him in the show.

His sister was supposed to be more attractive too. They really kinda uglied up the Iron Islanders.
