Well, to all those saying Warners wont pit Bats against the cinematic cerberus that is summer 2011, i was at the Con today and over t the DC camp i spoke with someone in their film department, and posed to him this same concern. He reassured me with something like ''We will put Batman up against anything anytime, and laugh when it rolls over the competition. We do not care''. seriously. i got chills.

I don't think it'll come out in 2011 because Batman 3 will probably overshadow 'Green Lantern'. I'm pretty sure WB doesn't want to f*** up a potential franchise. (Which might be reason as to why Marvel moved Thor back to 2011, so IM2 doesn't overshadow it)

I"m sure many have thought this way, come on, Bats is one of the most realistic heroes from the comics and most of the people have a closer relation with the character than they ever do with others superheroes so I"m sure WB can put The Murciélago against any Marvel movie, Harry Potter or other film and he will stand over the roof at the end of the day .

So Thor won't be overshadowed by SM4? I understand it's two different marketing companies but it's one the same fate. Thor will underperform against that kind of competition.

Either way, the point is it isn't official until WB says so. It's exciting and we all know it is inevitable to happen. But until WB says it is 2011 I will take this as just another rumor. Apparently the WB reps didn't even know about it.

I just hope and pray that Nolan doesn't fall into this 3D crap. It seems like it is taking over action movies. Uslan, a producer for the dark knight, was seen on G4 talking about how great 3D is. I am sorry, but I HATE 3D.
