well, there does seem to be some common elements of truth amongst the various rumors. so, yeah, I'd say that some of that stuff may end up true.

I think it's very likely that.....

1. Daisy will be Han and Leia's daughter. that seems almost a given at this point. And if that's the case, that means she will be a Jedi/Force Sensitive and will carry on the Skywalker legacy. Whether or not she's a rookie or already trained is not clear.

2. Boyega could very well be the "Stormtrooper" role mentioned in those rumors. There seemed to be several reports indicating that. If that's the case, it would seem unlikely he's Lando's kid. And whether or not he's a Jedi/Force Sensitive remains to be seen.

3. If Billie Lourd does indeed have a role, then that would mean that other black UK actress ( Maisie Richardson-Sellers ) has a role, too. She could very well be Lando's daughter. And maybe she is also Boyega's sister, but they don't know it.

4. Lupita and Driver will be villains.

5. Luke has gone missing.

Well that notion is no longer true at least...because there's more than 2 black people in Star Wars now. There's also Lupita and Maisie, and... I kind of expect Billy Dee as well. Disney had him out doing all these promotions so something is up why he wasn't included in the announcement. Surprise cameo?

Billy Dee will be at a Star Wars event in London in the coming weeks.

I can see Maisie in that role. and I can buy that more than trying to make her Kenobi's granddaughter or niece or whatever........

So, maybe the new trio will be Daisy, John, and Maisie.

Daisy could be an already trained Jedi who's searching for her uncle Luke.

John would be the ex-Stormtrooper/Imperial she meets along the way, and who discovers he's Force Sensitive. He may also serve as the "eyes" through which the audience experiences the story.

Maisie could be Lando's daughter, the "rogue pilot" of the group.

Billy goes to most of those things though. He always does. And he is confirmed for Rebels which they will be showing there. So it's hard to say. Though I would not be surprised if there was a cameo by him.

Yes, there may be truths in it, but not full truth. At the time Boyega was not even cast though. Like I said with the famous Spiderman 3 info dump before filming began on that, most of it was true, but some big things were not true at all. There always can be crossed wires. Especially since some other rumors claim Boyega is a ex-Imperial.

well Maisie was mentioned in that "My SW girls" tweet.

now there are rumors that Billie Lourd has a role. so if that's true, that means Maisie has a role, too.

we don't even know who the rest of the cast is playing.....lol.

Anyone who has seen her performance in Silent Witness knows what an absolute treat we are in for. The girl has some serious acting chops. I know this sounds cheesy as hell, but I firmly believe JJ struck cinematic gold when he found her.

Fun fact: Harrison Ford's trainer is the guy who invented Body by Jake ... and he tells us Han Solo is progressing faster than the Millennium Falcon in a Kessel run.

Jake Steinfeld was hanging out in Beverly Hills when he gave us the 411 on Ford's injury.

Turns out Jake and Harrison have been working together since the "Indiana Jones" days ... and they still keep in close contact.

Don't worry Star Wars fans ... Jake says his buddy will be back in a Tatooine minute.

Is this at Comic Con with its cast ? Because as they introduce the actors & actresses. The announcer can then say who they are playing as (insert name here) & there you go the characters get revealed

I've been saying, I like this mystery and would like that to last for a while because this is the most mystery we're ever going to have for a SW movie for a very long time.

I will agree that there's is zero chance of a teaser at Comic-Con, but I can't stand when people say that they've only been shooting for 2 months is one of the reasons. Guardians of the Galaxy had been filming for 2 WEEKS and came to SDCC with a full length trailer. I think they could put a full length trailer together if they wanted to, but they won't.

It can get me through the year...and next year, there will be plenty of distractions, so I won't think about the film too much.

Just something like a hooded Luke holding a lightsaber, with his face mostly in the shadows, would satiate people for a couple months.
