Stormtroopers, X-Wings, TIE Fighters, R2, 3P0, Chewie, even Boba. But as for hanging those on the wall lol I don't know. But it is something to talk about since there has been rumor that he will wield a lightsaber.
Oh, I expect him to wield a saber at some point, but this is no indication imo.

And while I love all those things, as or more identifiable then lightsabers or Vader? I'd put the Falcon above those, and I love me an X-Wing.

Well of course we don't know if it is. I never said that it was confirmation. But it may be a hint, since his dad has been in a part, I'm sure they know what he is playing. And to me a lightsaber is the iconic reference to Jedi/Sith. But ya, it could just be SW in general too.

The Falcon is very memorable I forgot that. SW has tons of iconic imagery, not just one. It's a powerful thing for sure. I'd also say some of the most iconic is R2 and 3P0 just their silhouettes alone people recognize. The unique duo.

I'm sure this has been discussed, but has Billy Dee Williams been contacted about a minor role in the new movie? If he's not in the movie, I would at least hope they mention that he's off doing something, rather than saying he was killed at some point.

No one knows. I doubt he will be. He does have a part in Rebels though.

I'm still sort of sad Mare Jade and Ben Skywalker won't be in Episode VII, or in canon in general for that matter. They were/are two my "old" EU characters.

I'm really not, I think it gives new fresh life into everything. You can always read about them in the "Legends" world. But now you will get to fall in love with new characters.

Ya, she is. But I'm glad we got confirmation of Andy being a digital character of some sort. That gets me excited especially from what I've heard about Dawn.

Either this is true (which I'm not surprised at all) or Mark is backtracking on his stance from last week, or his rumors that he started.

"The production was effectively in shutdown last week with the majority of cast and crew on call, but not on set. The same applies to the coming week, or at least the first half of it."

"All the decision makers and big guns were on set and working hard to re-plan the full production, from when talent would be needed to priorities in set build, costume and effects. All department heads attended and held a number of meetings in order to put into effect a plan B to work around Ford's time off."

"The Star Wars crew seem in amazingly high and confident spirits and whilst there has been disruption there is no sense of panic whatsoever. In fact, I would go as far to say they seem supremely confident that they are working on and achieving great things and you would not think any setback had happened."

In other words, no delay. :woot:

And yeah, complete backtracking. Of course that probably happened. But you and I both have been saying it. They'd work some movie magic, and move the filming around. It probably was/is a logistical nightmare, from the sets to cast available. I can believe it took a little time and brain power. But this is by far the most likely outcome.

Ya. That and I bet the 6 month rehab thing was not really true either. But with out a doubt I'm sure there was a few days of headache, and lots of strategic planning. But these guys are professionals, and they know how to do their job.

So now to wait for the first screen shot from the film....

I don't doubt the 6 months of rehab is true. I broke my arm when I was 20 and had to do 3 months of rehab therapy, mine was a clean break with no complications. He is in his 70s and broke a leg and had to have surgery. That's gonna require some rehab. Mostly due to scar tissue from the surgery. You can't waste anytime with that stuff. You have to begin breaking it down as soon as possible and you have to stay on top of it so that the scar tissue doesn't fuse to the muscle and skin. And he will need therapy to rebuild his atrophied leg muscles and to reduce stiffness from wearing the cast.

It's nice to hear they are working around this so the whole thing about delays and a May release can be put to rest.

Well, the difference is they said it would take 6-8 weeks in the offical press releases, and his publicist said the same.

The rumor of 6-8 months started with The Sun (National Enquirer of the UK) and Mark at Jedi News ran with it. Everyone else that talked about that, linked it to his site. So it all started with him. That and he has not really had any thing right with any of his exclusives, like the whole Egypt thing etc. So when LFL also denied these rumors still no one really listened.

So it still seems doubtful that it is true just looking at the sources and LFL saying different.

Harrison Ford pics from last night:

It's nice to see Harrison walking about, even if with a bionic leg :cwink:

Listened to the MSW podcast which is full of hearsay and the like... Wouldn't be surprised if some pieces are true they've been saying but it's pieced together wrong.

Anyway they claim they've been told Ridley's character has her own house/home (or possibly temporary dwelling) on Tatooine and it is a set. There's chatter also that an X-Wing belongs to her.

hmmmm.........

maybe Daisy is already a trained Jedi. and she's already looking for Luke when she meets Boyega.

and glad to see Ford is up and about.

hope he has a smooth recovery.

They could use this in the film, but give him a lightsaber walking stick. Turn him to the dark side and call him Darth Crawl.

I could see them writing in a leg injury for Han (injured in a prior battle).

If that really is her [BLACKOUT]X-Wing[/BLACKOUT], I propose marriage to her now. At that point she truly is perfection. :D

That's been my prediction for the longest. Also take in the fact that her stunt double has a specialty in swords.

BTW, those new Ford pics from London look more like a 2 month injury than a 6 month injury.

really?

I do remember reading somewhere that described Daisy as being "acrobatic."

Visited JJ and his EP VII set. I signed the NDA so all I can share are this old Bantha-Tracks subscriber's tears and snotty nose of joy. The Force is WITH this movie. Holy Sith...
