It's not like his looks aren't explained...He has redish/blonde hair and light freckles... That ain't just anyone...he's the gaming worlds first Ginger hero.
I do like the playlist more in this one then the Bungie games. I can play what I like now. Instead of playing 10 or so games of what I dont like. To play one game of a game I do like
Played for a long ass time last night. I was having fun, but then all the good players came out. I went from getting on average 15 kills a game and a positive K/D to playing games where I scored 0 kills and 2 assists. I almost threw my copy of Halo 4 in the trash.
Biggest issue I'm having in the MP is the invisibility. That **** is too good. A guy I was playing against got a perfection because he would go invisible and crouch in a corner with a shotgun. No one could stop him because we couldn't find him and couldn't see him when he came out. I can't run around with promethean vision on all the time to counter those kind of soulless sonsof*****es. They have got to do something about the invis. In Reach, when someone was invisible you got a flurry of red dots on your motion sensor. Now, it's a bunch of barely noticeable blue dots. I hate it.
I like it a lot. I couldn't imagine playing it on any other difficulty except Legendary. The missions (at least on Episode 1) are kind of rehashes of the campaign, but I like that it feels like there's a point. Firefight was just wave after wave with no objectives. Spartan Ops feels more concrete in that regard. The one drawback I found was I didn't enjoy playing it co-op. Especially with 4 players. It just felt like too much, and too easy. Playing solo was much more satisfying.
I do find it amusing that the Didact is so obsessed with humanity being the greatest threat in the universe, when it's really the Elites who all but conquered humanity, destroyed the Covenant, and saved the galaxy from being destroyed by the Halos in Halo 3 (with John's help, of course).
Without the Elites, all the humans would have died in Halo 3.
