TheForce.net - Lucasfilm Says No Change In Episode VII Release Date Following Ford's Injury
June 23

Jedi News heard from "a number of sources" that a meeting was held today at Pinewood Studios in the UK to discuss the possibility of delaying Star Wars Episode VII following Harrison Ford's recent injury.

"The early word is that production of the film could be pushed back by a substantial amount of time," the report reads.

Yesterday, ************** pointed to what is reportedly the text of a Pinewood production memo stating that there have not been changes to the script, although "rescheduling of the [Episode VII] shoot is necessitated."

Lucasfilm would not comment on the extent of the production delays, but a company spokesperson told TFN, "There is no change in the release date."

We will continue to track the fallout from Ford's injury and update as we learn more.

Seeing any of the original 3 on the big screen again is going to be magical but especially Han, considering how uncertain it sometimes seemed as to if Ford would want to return or not (even though we knew he would).

Harrison Ford, who broke leg in 'Star Wars: Episode VII' set mishap, photographed without cast or crutch

http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/movies/harrison-ford-photographed-cast-article-1.1884224

Harrison Ford was spotted walking in Santa Monica Monday without a cast or the hands-free crutch that he has hobbled with since breaking his foot on the set of "Star Wars: Episode VII" last month.

It's the clearest sign that the 72-year-old actor is nearing a return to work on the eagerly awaited sci-fi film, reprising the role of Han Solo from the original "Star Wars" trilogy.

As Ford, a licensed pilot, boarded his personal helicopter, he could be seen with a bandage wrapped around his ankle - the only clue to the ordeal he suffered less than six weeks ago.

I wonder if Han will be wearing his usual vest and outfit. I personally hope not, its been 30 years and it would come off cartoonish. It already did in RotJ

I think he'll wear the same motif though like his jacket in 'Empire'.

I think the vest worked in A New Hope because he was so damn skinny. When he gained muscle then that's when it looked odd on him, like in 'Jedi'. They should've kept his Bespin/Hoth jacket.

Harrison Ford looks back to his best after leg injury at Expendables 3 premiere

The actor, who was said to have broken his ankle when a for fell on it during the filming of the highly-anticipated sci-fi film, looked a picture of health and happiness as he stepped out for the Expendable 3 premiere last night.

Dressed in a dapper navy suit and without any walking aid, the 72-year-old appeared healed of his former ailment as he posed up a storm on the red carpet, showing no sign of any discomfort.

‘The Expendables 3′ Premiere: ‘Break a Leg,’ Says Sylvester Stallone to Harrison Ford

Harrison Ford, who injured his leg earlier this summer while filming the new “Star Wars” pic, also joined the cast on stage without the help of crutches or a cane, walking briskly and looking in good health. “Break a leg,” Stallone cracked.

I didn't make the joke. Sly did.

I would like if Han and Chewie are reintroduced as they were in ANH. Like after all the years of the rebellion and the empire they've gone back to being smugglers hanging out in seedy bars.

I never got why Han was leaving the rebels for in ESB. He owed Jabba but didnt Leia give him money? Cant he just pay Jabba somehow? Was he going to Tatooine to pay him or was he going back to a life of smuggling?

Han said specifically that he was leaving 2 pay Jabba

That'd be an interesting twist to start things off.

It's natural to assume Han and Chewie stuck around indefinitely to help Leia build the New Republic, but maybe things took a more realistic path.

For lost a lot of weight.

And it looks like (from videos) he's lost his loose hanging jowl. It was noticeable in Ender's Game.
