RDJ and Gwyneth are virtually the same height :funny: Still ship Pepperony though :D

To be fair there's a difference in making relatively short guys like cruise or rdj look average height (tom never looks actually tall in his films) than making a guy not much taller then them appear massive.

It's crazy how you'll still find people today who are convinced that tom (or the actor who played bane if they don't know tom's name) that he is at least 6'4"-6'5" and are shocked when they realize his real height.

Aside from CG tricks i don't think i've seen pure cinematography create that big a size difference for an actor.

You can say LOTR but everybody always knew there were camera tricks there, for people for only know tom from TDKR they probably don't even believe it's him when he says he was in the film.

Gwyneth is actually 2 inches taller. :funny:

I thought it was so adorbs when RDJ was on The Daily Show. Finally, Jon Stewart had a male guest who didn't tower over him. :funny:

Tom never appeared "tall," but yes, he came off massive and very menacing. And could stand toe-to-toe with Christian, which was the most important thing. :funny: Christian was never as stocky as Tom was as Bane, even when he was at BB size.

MY SHIP IS A LIE!! :(
:funny:

He was made to look massive and tall.

It's funny one actor here is 5'11" and one is probably under 5'10" guess which? It's not who you'd think on first glance haha...

what about 300 in real life butler and santoro are same height

I said non cgi effects wise. I'm pretty sure hardy's size increase was through camera angles only and of course healed boots when he had to go 1 on 1 with Batman.

Ahh who needs to be born 6'5" anymore? just make it in hollywood and they'll do all the work for you.

It's a little known secret everybody's favorite actor is actually 5'2" and/or actually two dwarves on stilts in a coat.

It may have been only a few seconds of screen time but snyder/wb and co. certainly made sure those set photos of him filming those shirtless scenes got out there.

Plus the workout videos etc. Cavill's training was always going to be somewhat a marketing aspect it seems.
Oh yeah. That certainly seems to be the case. Cavill's fitness seems like a major promotion angle. Lots of stars muscle up for roles but very few get this level of media publicity and hype.

I think it might be because its a Snyder/Twight collaboration. Twight has brought elite fitness to Snyder's films and Snyder has made sure the word gets out about it. Their last collaboration - 300 - was heavily promoted based on the fitness of the actors, there were innumerable videos/articles/interviews about it.

For MOS, Snyder insisted on having a shirtless shot and then BTS pics were leaked by the studio itself. Their next collaboration is 300: Rise Of An Empire which I am sure will receive publicity along the same lines.

I think the promotion is also due to the fact that they are truly raising the bar. People say 300 and MOS are the two movies that received the most hype for their fitness, but I'll also say that Butler in 300 and Cavill in MOS developed the two best movie physiques in recent times.

I have seen so many times, I wonder if Henry knows the Internet has started calling him Cav-El. If not someone has got to get that info to him.

I am sorry to say but in real life (IN REAL LIFE), Cavill and Adams seem to have no chemistry. They are so formal and there is so much awkwardness between them, its like they didn't become friends even after spending 6 months together.

She obviously praises him but in a superficial way. Cavill seems kinda like an aloof guy, even his Immortals co-stars said that he didn't mix much. And Snyder said that Cavill is as serious as a heart attack.

Okay...

So henry confirms he's in the film with Hammer. Sweet wow. Guy Richie directing

Lol, I wonder if any of this attention is going to go to his head. Hope not. ;)

People have been asking who they think had the better physique out of Cavill or Chris Hemsworth. I said I assumed Cavill did because he had no accusations of steriods. :hehe:

Anyone who says Amy is so formal when talking about Henry hasn't seen the interviews where she practically drools over talking about him.
