Looks like the first stage of Henry's Super transformation was to get him in to basic shape at first. It does look like he is in as good as, or better shape than for "Immortals". He looks larger, stronger, and boy does he look good in those pics.

So far, so SUPER!

im sure they told him not to cut his hair so they can make style decisions when he gets on set.

After all these pics, any doubts about him looking good for the part?

I must admit that the more I see of him, the more convinced I am that he's right for the role. When he was first announced I was pretty bummed, my only exposure to him being when he was up for the role in SR, and even then the pics made him look too young and pretty-boyish. But he seems to have matured well and I'm fairly excited, especially after seeing some of the manips.

LOL @ Supes sportin' the chest hair. The guy definitely looks 30+ in these pictures. In some of these pics 35+.

I never had any doubt he's perfect for the role.

I always wanted him if Routh didnt return.....thank God i got my second wish granted....p.s, hes looking great in those pics!

I wanted him over Routh for 2006 SR, though I was pleasantly surprised Routh did well suffering only from the actual script.

Me neither. And good Lord am I going to enjoy looking at that in IMAX.

Yes. I feel so lucky; just look at Bale, Ledger, Cavill, Evans, Hemsworth, Fassbender, Reynolds, et al. We fangirls have so many reasons to be thrilled with superhero movies.

Yet we get Maggie and Amy.
:oldrazz:

I know, though I would've substituted Kirsten for Amy. This is the main reason I don't jump all over the sexist bandwagon when posters complain about female casting. I understand you guys want something to ogle, too. :cwink:

I preferred Katie over Maggie actually. Not just easier on the eyes, but I saw no big boost in performance. I would have been happier if they kept her. I could be the minority on that, dunno.

Amy is pretty, just for me doesn't have the appeal many other choices had. With that said, she could look a lot better for the role if they do their job on styling her.
