Bomer looks just like Cavill. Batman shouldn't look like Superman.

Ben has that man's man rugged look.

I was personally against Bomer as Batman. That being said about Clark looking like Bruce

I guess the concept is that they could be brothers. Or something. :D

Batman's personality is different, but a key point is his mortality, which to a large degree dictates his methods. How do you think Superman would go with his hopeful, inspirational message without the benefit of super powers?

Tom Welling's Clark was soooo bullied and lived so many sad events! :(
I liked the way a girl discovered his powers because they were blocked in an elevator and he had to save themselves.

Her name was Alicia. She was awesome. :hrt:

I dislike the fact Clark dated two cousins...though I do not remember if he has ever been with Chloe or if she had just a crush on him.

Clark and Chloe never dated.

Clark and Chloe were cousins? And who the hell was the other one?
I believe they're referring to the fact that Lois and Chloe were cousins. Dating two members of the same family is generally frowned upon.

Smallville in general should be frowned upon.

(Just remember... Your hate only makes me more powerful. :oldrazz: :palps: )

All these people forgetting Smallville has the best adapted version of the Kents, Lex, Lois and an awesome original character in Lionel Luthor.

My idea of Superman isn't Roswell mixed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. That's just me though.

Smallville did not have the best Lois, Lois and Clark had the best Lois. And surprisingly for Smallville to be show about Clark Kent it had arguably the worst Clark Kent ever.

How would you have done a TV series about Clark Kent becoming Superman lasting for 10 seasons on a limited budget? Enlighten me.

People often crap on Smallville saying it's an utter pile of dung, written terribly, nothing good about it, etc. But also love Man of Steel. What they don't know, is if they got their wish and Smallville never existed, a lot of what they like about Man of Steel just wouldn't have been there, they have to test the ground to see what works and what doesn't.

Why?

Nope. But cool story.

I'd love to see more of Lionel Luthor in future adaptations. Jonathan and Martha were wonderful. I loved Lex, but could never buy him as the ultimate evil (probably because Rosenbaum was so damn sympathetic). Lois' personality was fine, but they did a lot with her that wasn't ideal.

I thought Lois and Clark had the best Clark…no one else decided to actually have him be a reporter instead of a veiled excuse for him to find out about danger.

I'd like to think that if Clark had grown up as a regular person, he'd still have become a reporter.

Best:
Clark: Lois and Clark
Lois: Lois and Clark
Lex: Smallville
Jonathan and Martha: Smallville
Jor-el: Man of Steel

Do you mean Clark in the mythos or in Smallville? I think in Smallville, the way things were going if he was a regular person, he would have done something in sports. He expressed he wanted nothing more than to play sports a lot of the time and I bet if he'd been a regular person he would have ended up with Lana.

In the mythology.

Yes and yes.

yeah, I remember now that I wished that Clark could have more sports scenes in Smallville. He was great when he played!!
But I think he likes that due to his powers; it does not hurt him, he's powerful, etc.
Without them.. I don't know.
The fact he lives in a farm does not help eiter: generally, people who live far from school have only a few friends, don't date a lot and....less popular...

Yep. Even when it's for a movie with a super-pretty boy (look at Oliver Queen/ Green Arrow in Smallville), dating two cousins is still terrible to me.

I dislike a bit Oliver Queen because of this storyline :(
WTH did they invent Chloe? I could not even stand her! :(

Plus, I don't know why, she is said to have a great relationship with Tom Welling IRL... I'm getting jealous and worried :D
Tom just divorced...

Best:
Clark: Lois and Clark
Lois: Lois and Clark
Lex: Smallville
Jonathan and Martha: Smallville
Jor-el: Man of Steel

I second this, well not Martha she annoyed me on Smallville but Jonathan was fantastic.
Also I believe Tom is not divorced yet, is Justin divorced? I seem to remember hearing he and his wife split too.
