I understand where people could say, in this story that is meant to be more grounded and realistic (not the physics or powers, but the way people act and their motivations, similar to how Game Of Thrones is realistic) that it's really hard to suspend disbelief that somebody could not recognize Clark is Superman, especially when Lois did immediately (maybe a magic kiss that allows her to see through the glasses lol), and I completely get the whole reasoning of "They aren't looking, or it doesn't cross their mind because why would Superman try to walk around like a regular person". But it's still incredibly risky every day to go out in the world pretending not to be Superman, who would be the most famous person on Earth, I'm sure.
So, I've tried to think of a way to avoid that, some kind of disguise, makeup, illusion, Kryptonian technology or whatever so that Clark and Superman look different enough that you can buy that nobody recognizes him. But, Idk, I suppose it's just so ingrained into the mythology that it's best to just leave that alone, let it be what it is, and just turn your logic off for that specific aspect of the story.
I'm hoping they didn't feel like it was a bit too silly, but still wanted to include the Clark persona, so they just gave us that and then killed him off, never to return. Basically saying "It could have only lasted for so long." Both the Bruce and Clark secret identities are essential to the mythos, at least until the final act of the overall DCEU story.
