Henry Cavill IS Superman: - Part 6

That's interesting you mention that.

I was at an amateur bodybuilding show a couple months ago supporting a friend who was competing.

There were a lot of guys in the light-heavyweight class, around 6'1", tanned and oiled up that did not look as impressive as Cavill does in those pics.

And Cavill hasn't even cut water yet.

Hemsworth is a Mesomorph with large bones, and is just a naturally bigger guy. Evans, Cavil, Jackman are natural Ectomorphs- tall skinny guys who packed muscle onto their naturally smaller frames. You can tell that Henry has his diet down, possibly low or moderated carb. His low bodyfat accentuates his dense muscles even more. I'm curious what his strength gains are from working out at Gym Jones.
Also, Evans has repeatedly said that he basically looked like Skinny Steve as a teenager. I really don't think he could have gotten bigger than his Cap physique if that's true, whereas Cavill seems to put on muscle quite easily and manages to maintain a low body fat percentage as well.

Huh, Cavil looks more dense based on circumstance(hair/pose). Evans was walking around with huge arms for months and he's naturally a gym head(it's been documented). They wanted to give him a sort of artificial/fresh look based on the story premise.

That being said if snyder hired the guys from 300 then you can bet Cavills working with some very practical muscle fibers. I do think Jackman get's over looked for how easy he makes it all look but he get's in insane shape for his films.

Hemsworth has the best frame for what he's going for and Reynolds kicked ass in his bulk up films as well.

Routh imo is really the only one that looked like he had water in his arms(sorry man)

At the end of the day, this guy probably has the has the best transformation(flash thompson).

no homo

I think Joe M., Routh, and Helmsworth had the worse proportions due to their height. Routh was the worse when you added his soft muscles and odd mid-section. Evans and Cavill both look great but I still give the edge to Cavill at this point. Jackman seemed the most shredded but was smaller than both Cavill and Evans.

Someone on here thought Hems was a natural mesomorph, I'm no so sure. There are plenty of pics of him looking skinny as hell.

As for what I said about muscles looking more dense when activated

ummmmmmm

there is too many shirtless men on this thread......... can everybody please stop!

He could be a, ecto-meso. His just looks too big boned to be an Ecto- wrist size is usually a good way to tell.

As someone that works out I can appreciate the physiques of men. Motivates me for some reason. In fact I'd love to know Cavill's complete program at GymJones.

yeah.

you can be a straight guy and admire the awe inspiring physiques of other guys.

it gives you something to aspire to......lol

I think Joe M's physique is unreal at the moment, though some photos taken from the side wrongly make him look narrow - like the one above. The guy must put in some serious gymn time to maintain the build, he's been pretty ripped like this for a couple of years now. I'm more than happy we got Cavill for Superman, but Joe M was high up my list too when the casting threads were hot.

^ I still can't believe that's Flash Thompson from the Spider-man movies!

but I'm still glad we got Cavill instead.

Cavill has a "softer" look to him, while still being insanely ripped and rugged as evidenced by those pics....lol

I've been reading some other websites posting these pictures of Cavill, and I think I've really had it with a good portion of fandom. I see writers and posters looking at these pictures, and making the giant leap in assumption that Superman is going to be like Wolverine or Leonidas in the movie, and it drives me bonkers.

Geez Anita, I hope your pale, skinny, nerdy BF isn't reading this thread. Talk about intimidation. He'd probably start hitting the gym right away.

...gotta love fanboys.

There are not too many shirtless pics of guys at this page (it can never be too much).

But there is overall too much talk about people that are not Cavill. I couldn't care less who is more ripped than the other. Henry looks fantastic, let's discuss that imo.

He was actually my 1st choice. I'm happy with Cavill don't get me wrong. But Joe is mos def Superman-esque.

Seriously I love bearded "looking for himself" hobo Clark. But why is he running shirtless and with torn pants? Makes me wonder...

Though that JH pic is too much for me. Too photoshopped, too posed and a bit too perfectly build.

Regarding chest hair............there are a lot of guys who naturally don't grow a lot (or any) hair on their chest or legs. A lot of Asians. for example, have really smooth, bare skin. So I can understand the kind of manley rugged look woman lust over, but that doesn't mean the guys who may be ripped and in great athletic shape who have no chest hair are purposely removing it.

This also reminds me of athletes. The hair is usually removed because it just catches and traps way too much sweat. Not to mention a lot of guys who DO shave or wax do so because.......well, quite frankly, what's the point of working out if everything's covered in hair? Everything just looks............cleaner. Chest hair is great, I'm not knocking it at all, but it really only works with solid chest muscles. Chest hair without the sculpt and shape of a ripped chest looks............ugh.

Even Henry's chest hair has been removed. Isn't he bare in Immortals? I don't think that makes him any less of a "man". I think Henry looks fantastic, but I also think the bare look is just as good.

Btw, I enjoy going to the gym myself. But after looking at that Gym Jones website.............they scare the hell out of me. Holy ****! It looks like some of those people are killing themselves!
