Hitman: Absolution - Part 1

I'm putting a spoiler because in case anyone hasn't played the game.

I didn't know you can cheat your way after read some reviews but I only used a cheat. (I was stuck at the Gun Shop) I failed to beat Lily and score I got 326. I'm a lousy shooter. Otherwise I couldn't progress

I hope we can see a Hitman movie soon.

Yea theres a few ways around that level that dont require beating her in the contest.

Jeez, I had my cover blown three times, one in Dexster Industrials trying to kill Dr Green. second one was at before you face Sanchez and third one was in cornfield. I didn't want to restart them because real Agent 47 wouldn't able to do that.

Haha it happens man. What disguise were you using in the cornfield? The scarecrow is easily the best outfit to use.

I did disguise as a scarecrow soon as I took down a one of the guards I became one of the guard. I should've stayed as a Scarecrow I know that now. Plus it was long time since I shot anybody so I said what the hell go out guns blazing before my cover blown three times. I love how you can interact with almost anything. a iron or a pipe etc.. and I love pointing shooting; the mark the people you want to shoot 47 does the rest. :woot:

Love the song at the end of the game. Very fitting to the game.

Not having Jesper Kyd do the soundtrack was disappointing, but yea, i thought the music to the game was pretty good overall

It's good that they are focusing on the Hitman games. It's like they lost the fat, replacing it with lean muscle.

IO Interactive was responsible for Freedom Fighters and the Kane and Lynch games.

I hate that people lost their jobs, but its great to hear they will only focus on the Hitman franchise. Thats what IO does best. Cant wait to hear more on the next Hitman game.
Yeah, always a shame & seems to happen a lot in the gaming industry. Kane & Lynch isn't something I saw going on indefinitely. Anyone played Mini Ninjas? I know one of my friends said it was quite fun but I didn't try it yet. More Hitman games by these guys is great although I've yet to complete Absolution. 100% stealth just isn't my style lol.

Thats so awesome.

Iv already got two copies of the game tho, so dont need another, free or not.....and i dont have Plus, or my PS3 at the moment :(

I rented the game about two months ago,Pretty good and worth downloading for free IF you have PS+,I have the service But I already played the story

Loved the style and setting of Absolution, just wish some of the levels had been a bit more like the old style large, expansive with loads to explore. There were only three or four like that.

Still a great game though but I think Blood Money is still my favourite,

Yea i deff miss the old level based gameplay, however, for story sake, this format made much more sense. I would love to see a return to the more global feel that the other games had. I loved having all these different missions in different exotic locales.

Iv put over 80 hrs in Absolution, which is probably similar to what i did with Blood Money. In terms of missions/levels, Blood Money was my favorite, in terms of story and 47's character development, Absolution is tops.

Cant wait to see what IO does next.

man I should have started with this game last week as Im absolutely loving it. Im on the 4th mission and Ive failed a dozen times but unlike other games, it doesn't really bother me here. There are so many options to finish a mission and Im getting a kick out of discovering them. What I can tell from my limited exposure is that this game is really well done. I really like that it has an arcade experience with the challenges and score at the end of a mission. Makes it even more fun and increases the replay value

I'm so tempted to play this, my roommate is currently playing it but I keep telling myself to get the HD Collection first lol. I like playing things in order....

Have u played the other games? Just curious. Absolution is a fantastic title tho. Iv spent over 80 hrs with this game and im still finding new ways to take out marks. I also HIGHLY reccomend going through the game in Purist mode. Such an epic stealth experience

Good choice. Hitman is my fav game series and I'll be the first to admit the series hasn't aged all that well. It would be really tough to play Absolution then go back and play the other games. There are some FANTASTIC levels in those older games tho. Also, if u wanted to just jump to Absolution, you won't miss much story wise. The games carry very little story from title to title.

Never played them before. Hitman is one series I missed. Are the others like this? Would I use a late comer in the series enjoy them or will they feel dated and frustrating after playing this? Im considering checking out the HD collection sometime after this.

I don't see myself doing Purist mode yet. Im still learning the game and mechanics and finding it challenging to go unnoticed in Hard. Probably should have started off on Normal, but I decided to knock out the difficulty trophy while Im completing the game.

As a series enthusiast, yea I think they are a bit dated, well Silent Assassin and Contracts are, Blood Money still holds up pretty well though. If you really wanted to dive a bit deeper into the lore, sure pick up the HD collection but I think you are fine just playing Absolution.

Yea I'd deff reccomend purist on a second play through. I tried going through purist on my first play through and had to switch down to expert. Once you get a feel for the game and the level layout, purist is great tho.

Just does anyone else feel this game would make a great basis for a Terminator game.
