I'm actually have no idea how The Dark Knight will end. NO CLUE????? With Bale saying they leave things wide open, anything and everything is possible. I want to believe our last image of The Dark Knight would be of Harvey/Two-Face killing someone and revealing to us his new face. I really wouldn't even mind seeing Lex Luthor showing up into Gotham. Catwoman some how showing up into all this. But as for my thoughts, I have no real ideas.

know what would be more of an epic tease than BB's ending? The Dark Knight ending with Harvey getting acid on his face and the Joker falling in chemicals... and by the end Gordon would say something to the effect of "before the crime was organized through the mob. There are all dying. the city is being lost to these maniacs... you only made them bleed..." END.

I highly doubt The Joker will die in this series, there is an endless choice of storylines with him. Yes, Burton did indeed kill off The Joker in his film but I get the feeling Nolan won't.

As for the ending I imagine as many before have said Dent will have the acid thrown in his face during a court room appearence, we will see The Joker story fade into the next film and then the big reveal of Two-Face at the very end. Not too original but I think it will pan out that way.

I want pure tragedy, joker and two-face squares off. Something huge blows up, batman comes out of the fire very stylish gliding through the fire. Batman believes joker and two/face is dead. However, they are not. I want people dead in the next film, I want rachel dawes to be thrown out of wayne penhouse and I want the batpod to disengage from the tumbler before the tumbler gets blowned up.
