As good as an idea this may sound, it really would be less like "Smallville" and more like "Man Vs Wild". You have to remember Bruce traveled A LOT when he was training. Perhaps a name like: "The Wayne Files" or "The Wayne Ventures" or perhaps "The Wild World of Wayne".

That's what I was thinking. Not only that, but you can't really introduce many of the villains into the show. I don't want to see Joker pre-joker, nor may of his other baddies. And he wouldn't, since he wouldn't be in Gotham much.

I think a live-action Spidey would fit much more. However, I think we need to wait about another 10 years until tv has CGI that can do the character justice without costing and arm and a leg.

I assume the show won't have him travel. The blog post made it sound like he would be interacting with quite a few Gothamites, like Barbara Gordon and Selina Kyle. Possibly a young Harvey Dent, too.

Yeah but if that was the premise of the show...you'd have to have the whole "villain if the week" thing going on. Socializing with younger versions of characters, such as Catwoman, would bastardize origin stories and just make for a romantic drama at best.

I would have the Riddler as a detective in GPD. He begins to suspect that Gordon is in league with Batman. He shares his suspicions with others such as Stephens but they dismiss his claims. He begins to become obsessed with proving that Gordon is working against the GPD and the obsession begins to take over his life. When he is suspended from active duty, it further fuels his obsession. He could also live with his mother and be on of those guys who is inteligent yet socially inept.

A new and mysterious female D.A. emerges and sparks the interest of Bruce Wayne she is secretly Talia Al Ghul

The Joker was simply a pawn used by a mobster who wanted to move in on the Falconne family
This is the Black Mask an older man , rich, a rogue member of the league of shadows who
recruited the joker tortured him and drove him insane with the blue flowers (great way to go back show Joker's origin)
His purpose was served as he drove the Batman from hero to vigilante in the general public eye
the black mask is secretly also a wealthy business man and has the pull to push around Bruce wayne and also
fabricate documents and information his Intel is unparalleled, he nearly completes a hostile takeover of Wayne enterprises

Talia Al Ghul will lead a team of the league of shadows in revenge for her fathers death she knows Bruce Wayne is Batman
and this poses a serious threat since everyone is on the hunt for Batman she is unaware of whom the Black mask is and that he was a
partner with her father in the league

Commish Gordon must find a way to get info out the Joker, while in Arkham he is receiving treatment from a new doctor who turns
out to be an operative of the Black Mask, the black mask is determined to kill the Joker to conceal his identity but the operative
does a double cross she is Harley Quinn, and now the Joker is unleashed with vengeance on his mind and unleashes a new batch of terror on
Gotham

the two factions of the league of shadows go to war in the streets of Gotham
with Batman needing heavy artillery to subdue the war enter the Bat-Wing

riddler:a former wayne enterprises employee obsessed with bruce wayne, and the rest of the wayne family. he becomes equally enthralled by the batman he begins to make assumptions and posting things on the internet and other places suggesting bruce is batman, not knowing how right he really is. he starts to do serious investigating and starts to link bruce and batman with serious evidence. when the police disregard the ramblings of a man in a neon green siut and gold cane, he becomes obsessed with revealing the identity of the batman

That one sounds a little too much like Riddler in Batman Forever for my liking. And why does he wear a green suit and cane in your version?

Holy crap newb!! This is...good!! My only reservation is having Harley in the script, seems like a throw a way role. But the rest of your story is by far the most original I've seen on this thread in a long while. Tying in the league of shadows with Black Mask is a genious idea. I like the use of the blue flower as a link between the Joker and the Black Mask is a great twist. The use of Talia as well creates this great trifecta of conspiracy, murder and redemption. A true first class effort by far, keep it up!!

That is really effin' good, V. I like that you learned from Begins and didn't try and force any of the classic Batman villains into the spotlight before their time, but use characters that feel natural and keep things grounded. I'm a little worried about Harley not getting enough screen time, kind of like what happened to Two-Face. Otherwise, well done.

Talia plays into Bruce until the Joker exposes her true identity. She is a complex character, not quite heroine nor villainess but more of an anti-hero.

Black Mask was intent on killing the Clown Prince of Crime and framing Batman for it, but the Joker wants to kill Black Mask. I agree 100% I like the ideas Vicious, but the Joker is never a pawn. He's too smart, and secondly, showing the Joker's origin would be a huge, huge, HUGE mistake.

Part of the reason the Joker was such an amazing villain in TDK is because we didn't see his origin. Part of what made him compelling was the fact that he told multiple stories about how he got his scars. Actually wondering what happened to him, and theorizing about who and what he was before he had the scars, and all the debate that arises around it (was he always crazy? Did he scar himself? Did the scars drive him crazy?) is part of what makes Nolan's Joker such a great villain. One of the best movie villains of all-time in my opinion.

Actually showing what happened to him will take away that aspect, and also, it will never live up to everyone's individual idea of what could have happened.

In short, you would be destroying part of what made a great villain great, in order to build up the other villain.

However, I don't want to sound like I'm bashing you. I really like all the other ideas, it's good stuff

You bring up some good points but I like how the Black mask story with The False Face Society ties into the Joker appearance with his marred face I think that would be really cool. maybe not show it but show Black mask torturing someone else in a similar way. The Blue Flowers I thought were so cool in the first flick itd be nice to bring those back, and this story would easily tie down all three movies together so that you could watch each movie one after another and they would flow seamlessly.
