IGN's top 10 worst comic book movies of the decade

Where's the first Hulk movie and Blade Trinity? One of these should have made it instead of DD.

Isn't it ironic saying Spider-Man 3 tried to be like Batman Begins and go dark while now Sony is trying to do that with the new reboot.

Spiderman 3 never actually tried to go dark. The only darkness about it was the spider-suit being black, that's it.

at least brock had motivation, as opposed to the comics. wwahhh, you exposed my fake news story, I HATE YOU!!!1111

His motivation was pathetic though. He wants someone killed because he lost his job? And no prior indication of him being a bit sick in the head? C'mon...

And Daredevil should definitely not be at number 9. If it's on there at all it should be 10. It's about 10000x better than X3. Poorly shot fight sequences? Daredevil has some of the best fight sequences in any comic book movie ever. Obviously apart from the playground fight :whatever:

He also took his girlfriend, and he was humiliated because of why he lost his job. Obviously he's a bit nuts.

Daredevil had good action scenes, but I think X-Men 3 had better ones. They were far more epic, and the CGI was great.

Yea i thought the Golden Gate Bridge raising was epic and the fight at Jeans house. But the actual final fight just seemed a bit silly to me really. It just looked blatantly on a sound stage and with loads of people jumping around on wires.

I think DDs are better in a more martial arts sense. More grounded action. That bar fight was sick. That's how Batman should fight, not his stiff robotic crap like in TDK.

I suppose you can't really compare Daredevil action scenes with X-Men action scenes really though. X-Men are superhuman Daredevil is just a sick ass martial artist.

Glad you agree Batman's fighting in Dark Knight was too stiff.

He should fight like he does in Arkham Asylum. :o

Eh. I'm fine with Batman's fighting style in the films. Besides, I usually have Batman using his arms in AA as well.

IGN is one of the worst websites of the decade. :p

What?

If a guy, with Spider-Man as the avatar says it sucks because of what they say about Spider-Man 3...

of course it's because they're ********* about it.

I'm not sure how much I'm agreeing with that list.

It falls in the middle of the two lists somewhere.

Actually, he was shown to be a bit delusional about his relationship with gwen stacy...

Y'know what? In my opinion Spiderman 3 WAS a bad film. I don't believe it belongs anywhere near the same category as Batman and Robin, or....Catwoman, but it was a bad film. When you think about the potential that SP3 had, when you think about what Sam Raimi could've pulled with that movie, I can't help but to feel a strong disappointment for that flick. Of course I let my expectations soar with SP3, but only because SP2 was so stellar, and the material Raimi could've used was literally RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF HIM, that it just...baffles me how he managed to screw it up.

He planted the seeds with Harry Osborn discovering the secrets of both Spiderman and the Green Goblin. Then you have MJ knowing the secret, you include the symbiote in the film, that's a perfect set up right there. I'm not trying to bash the guy, sure it's a good popcorn flick, the same can be said for the FF movies, the same can be said for X-men the last stand and Wolverine origins. I expected the third Spiderman film to have a rich storyline. Peter battling the aggressive impulses that the symbiote enhances, Harry Osborn's rise as the new Green Goblin. I really, really could've done without Sandman, and a villain like Venom should've been saved completely for the fourth film. I mean, the guy made a damn near classic film with only Doc Ock and a damn good story. Of course people are going to have high expectations when material like the one the third film had is in the hands of a capable director in Sam Raimi. The plot was everywhere, jumbled up, going too fast, and the character's actions made little to no sense.

The only thing, IMO, it had going for it was the action sequences. If I want to see a film because of action sequences, I'd go see Bay's Transformers. Nah, I'm sorry, SP3 was a bad film to me. No, I don't believe Raimi is a hack for it, I still love his work. He'ss till made two stellar Spiderman films. But geez, man, it possibly was the studio's interference, as well as fan outcry, but I really want to know how they could've messed up that 3rd film, when they were working with more ideas than they had with the first two.
