Actually, they're going to Turkey and China this time around; and they just finished filming in Scotland. If I'm not mistaken, all the China/Shanghai scenes are being filmed in-studio in England, (with 2nd unit doing the B rolls in real China).

The fanboy in me really wants to see the return of Blofeld too, since Eon owns his again after the dude (and ironically enough, Sony too) who held up the rights died years ago.

OT: I'm doing great, how are you? yeah, I'm kinda avoiding the Bat boards for now. It's been too slow on the news front over there, and i'll drive people crazy if they continue to lurk there. It's for my own good and for my own safety. :p

I'm glad you're doing great! I'm more than fine, having found a job 2 weeks ago. Hopefully I don't get fired too soon the way Greece is doing. At least move out of my parents' place and enjoy some peace of mind, you know? Also trying to get funding for my movie, fingers crossed!

Can't blame you for avoiding the Batboards, though. Imagine, I started posting on this board out of boredom there!

Good luck, man. I'm still looking for a better job, but in the meantime, I'm doing okay. I'm hoping in the next year I can move to LA (which is next door to me anyway).

I was a film major too, and my friend is trying to help me get a job in Hollywood (I had a job over there but I got laid off!). But it's all hush-hush right now..so fingers cross. It's just an unpredictable industry but luckily I'm talented and likable enough, so I'll get somewhere soon.

But this is the time where I have to say bye because I have work early in the morning. Take care, man.

Wasn't there a leaked video of a train fight in India? But Turrkey and China... sounds like a decent amount of travelling. QoS had a s**tload of travelling, although they managed to integrate it subtly enough to the story so as not to come off as too pompous.

You, too. Good luck and see you around!

F**k me, really? That's fantastic! And no, they haven't so much as been mentioned, let alone explored. Except for a brief moment in CR, when Vesper guesses he's an orphan.

Yeah there was a set pic of a tombstone with the names of Bond's parents and extended relatives. And I think the name "Skyfall" is Bonds ancestral home.

Ooh, then yeah, Blofeld needs to come back. If they keep doing the Quantum story, he can be their leader. I don't care how it's called as long as it's SPECTRE at heart!

That's great to hear. It does sound like a character movie. It keeps getting better and better. Any other juicy piece of info?

Um I'm not sure if you were aware but current speculation points to Ralph Fiennes as a new M.

Taking over Dench when her past is being looked into? Which could also be making him a character with an ulterior motive, aka another villain?

Right now I think it's either this guy is a bureaucrat who, like you said could be involved with M's investigation or (and this is still a theory) possibly even take over the role permanently.

Could be a combination of the two. First he comes aboard to take over Dench, but his ways are different and, of course, he has never worked with Bond to know how to handle him. During the movie he understands what Bond is, and, if Dench indeed leaves the franchise, they have set the dynamics of the new M/Bond relationship.

Yeah that's a pretty good point, if it does indeed come to pass then there'll have to be some sort of adjustment period for Bond to truly come to trust this guy. Especially with how maternal M's role was with Him.

How about Bardem's villain? Is he from Quantum, or someone with grandiose plan, or is he somehow connected to the characters?

His name is Silva (Silver?) we know that much, but his goals and aligence are unknown at this point, but i think Craig mentioned that there wouldnt be any Quantum in this one. though the name does fit with the previous villains "colour" names (White, Greene etc)

No Quantum? Ah, a pity. Whatever the case, I'm sure he has every potential to be a memorable villain. Didn't Bardem say about Silva that "just because he's a villain doesn't mean he's bad", or something similar?

I'm wondering if perhaps he has a personal vendetta against Bond? Assuming he's responsible for the destruction of the Skyfall Lodge, seems
like he's really going for the jugular by destroying the home of Bonds family.

Yeah, he said who says a villain is a bad person?

Good. That alone would've been enough to make me excited for Skyfall. But there are so many more good things about this movie, it's not even funny.

So, that SHH front page report that the Skyfall lodge is Silva's headquarters is not accurate, right?

If they wrote that, no. Skyfall lodge is Bond's ancestral home.

Does that mean we may see any of Bond's relatives? Suddenly Albert Finney's casting seems suspicious.

Well if we go by the books Bond does have an aunt still alive, whether they use that though is anybody's guess.

His relatives are [BLACKOUT]dead. There are tombstones there.[/BLACKOUT]
