The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Jamie Foxx IS Electro - Part 2

The only way I see that working is if Norman knows about Peter being bitten and testing out how well the spider changed Peter.

Also, if that is true, I hope for more than just a cameo of Rhino and we see Osborn "making" the villains of Rhino and Electro.

And...me thinks it's like TSSM's version of Rhino and Sandman, but Sandy is obviously switched since he was used in Raimi's trilogy.

I hope they don't focus on 2 villains at the same time.

I think it would be nice if Electro wasnt a Superhuman per se but a guy fitted with Bolts or something.
He would feel like a superhuman at first but we would later see Peter debunking that thought and 'deactivating' him.
It would fit better in the reality theme and would have the potential to show Peter's scientific powress

No...

I'm really glad that Electro is the Villain of TASM2. Because He's one my Favourites! >:)

Electro would be like Frankenstein's monster?

The reality theme doesn't exist in this universe thank god.

kind of awkward that electricity took spidey out so easily in the first movie. He's meant to be able to handle what electro can dish out to some extent on account of his powers; yet webb shows that an electric weapon (very unlikely a weapon more powerful than electro's bolts etc) causes spider-man to get knocked out.

i think webb himself must realise this potential problem and hence we will hopefully get a stronger, better spider-man in the sequel.

just sucks that we have to wait til 2014 to see such a spidey.

ps. i disagree that it was the fall that knocked peter out, not the electric shock itself. he feel like a rag doll when he got hit.

Maybe that's why Spidey has to create a new costume :)

With the synopsis out and the castings, I get the feeling that Spidey will fight several villains in this. That makes me think it will basically be about Norman creating them to go after Spidey much like in TSSM.
I can see why you would say that, I simply disagree. I do think Electro is the main villain/antagonist that is out to get Spidey...whatever his motives are. I think Norman will remain hidden, working the scenes, with hints of Goblin already existence. Rhino(in particular the military grade armor & enhancements) is what Proto-Goblin was suppose to be in the first film...an uncontrolled test subject...hense the "Goblin Formula". Felicity, I believe is simply an espionage/saboteur Agent working at Oscorps...not necessarily as BlackCat, simply just Miss Hardy(for now). Colm is either a military contractor, or dare I say it, Walter Hardy.

I doubt it...the thesis of the film, surround Peter, Oscorps, research, and whatever plot/scheme from Norman. Has nothing to do with "college or the Bugle", in which she would be involved in, or even reached that point as of yet. So there's no reason at the moment to cast Betty.. again, unless he's in college or work for the Bugle.

I think he is going to get involved with the Bugle in this film, if nothing else because the synopsis talks about how busy he is and it sounds like he's growing up. If not, they may just set her up this film and have her playa bigger role in the sequel, like MJ. I think we'll definitely be in the college years in TASM3.

It just says he's busy taking out "Bad Guys" with a "S" & spending time with the person he loves. You reading into it as "photos/working for the Bugle". I understand the assumptions.

"Bad guys" could mean bank robbers and car jackers. Not necessarily super villains.

It'll knock him out for like a few minutes but because of his powers he heals wayyyyyy faster than a normal human being

His healing was fishy during that moment. We see him having some pain with his leg and then the pain just disappears as soon as Spidey reaches OsCorp Tower....

BUT, let's not forget that's in the first film. Electricity may not harm him that much as it did with the first film since he had to have grown in his powers by the time of the sequel.

I think Norman will be the "behind-the-scenes" villain in TASM2.

I think they're gonna make Norman's role much like they did in Harry Potter with Voldemort in the Half Blood Prince. His presence is felt, but you can't see him.

That's kinda what he was in the first movie too. They'll probably continue doing that and I love that idea .

I'd like to actually see Norman this time, even if it's just from the shadows(which I hope not).

post credit scene: electro is in prison, michael massee appears.

massee: did you tell the boy about his mother?
electro: no.
massee: good, we'll leave him be for now
electro: you should leave him alone!!

then the mr. trololol song starts playing and the credit "DIRECTED BY MARC WEBB" comes up
