I love looking at Jack's Joker. I hope Leto has this same quality. Over the years, they've done a very good job at giving this character a real presence on screen. Hell, even Cesar Romero stole the show back in the sixties.

Yeah,slicked back hair works best for an older Joker I think.

But the problem is, if Jared still looks baby faced and gives off that young man feeling, even at 42, then that hairstyle won't be very believable on the Joker.
His hair should be receding, but I prefer if we got this this look for him because it matches still Jared's hairstyle

And it resembles his first appearance hairstyle

But of course, you also have to wonder about Joker's sense of style. Will he be modern and sleek, or retain that classic royalty feel with the tail coat and spats?
If it's the latter, then the sleek back hair will work if he goes for his own hype and the prestigious title of
"The Clown Prown of Crime".

Also give him that Mark Hamill British accent

All the other Joker actors are better than Jack for me. He's my least favourite. Hated his Joker and the movie. Hated he was a known hood called Jack Napier, hated that he had a obsession thing for Vicki Vale, hated the Prince music, hated his dumb obsession with art, hated he was the one who killed Batman's parents. Never got the appeal to him. He's the laziest Joker performance too. Still looked and sounded like crazy Jack from his other OTT roles. Even physically he looked too rotund for Joker's slender physique.

Leto I am confident won't do this and will make his Joker so unique from anything he's done. Make it feel like a new character. So I am hoping he doesn't have the same quality as Jack, and I'd say most audiences are too.

Jack is a great actor. He's done lots of roles I like. Cuckoo's Nest is my favourite. But his Joker is one of his worst roles for me.

I hear that a lot, that Jack turned in a lazy performance. What more do you want? He was perfect for the role because he is crazy personified. The eyebrows, the hair, the smile, the laugh. They only had to emphasize the qualities he already had to complete the persona. You can't look at that gif and say that's not a perfect Joker look.

My problem wasn't with his costume and make up. I mean Uma Thurman looked just like the comic book Poison Ivy with the hair and costume but that didn't make me like her any better or think she's a high quality Poison Ivy. I don't think Jack was perfect for the role. I think any competent actor could have done the type of performance that Jack did. It didn't impress me at all. Out of all the crazy character performances he's done that's his worst. Lazy performance and hated the writing of his Joker. He also took over the whole movie and I don't mean with great acting. I mean the whole movie was basically about him.

I can, and do. In fact it is an as un-Jokery gif as one is likely to find.

P.S. Jack at his best is as good as they came, so this ain't a Jack bashing.

I always think of this bit of dialogue when I hear people say Jack was "lazy" with his performance or that he just played himself.
