Jared Leto IS The Joker - Part 1

What reg described, IS how the Joker often goes about life! Dressing and decorating, tailoring and crafting - all to mock the occasion and the people involved :p

And you didn't know! For shame! :o

Ah that. I wasn't saying that it was regwec's idea, I am aware that's how Joker is often depicted in the comics, but the emphasis is on the word "often". Characters from comics vary depending on who is writing them and Joker is no exception. When I said "I like that" I meant that I like that approach for this universe's Joker, as it's not something we got to see in previous live action incarnations of the character. :cwink:

I like the sense that The Joker sees each public appearance as a performance, and dresses appropriately. The Bermuda shirt when calling to maim and violate Barbara, a smoking jacket and slippers when luring Batman into his home, purple khakis when in Iran etc. It seems certain to me that he would wear a rain coat and hat to protect his finery when out in foul weather.

If we don't see it, I'll be perved beyond belief! :o

Joker has to have that twisted sense of mockery in bucket loads!
Like going into a school...and handing a machine gun to a child.
Dressing up as Santa Clause, and going into a hospital for terminally ill children and asking them what they want for Christmas...

Well, not THAT sick, but close :p

:lmao:

And in Arkham Asylum, Oracle said he sent Dr. Young a picture of a dead baby.

So I guess it's not that "taboo" of him.

For ****s sake, it's having nay reading glasses! :funny:

But it's still true :D

Excellent.

I like how he's just looking at nothing in particular.

Breaking the fourth wall...to see...an orange observing him :p

I'm the keeper of the cheese...and you're the lemon merchant, and he knows it.

I want to know why Gotham has flying cars? Or... Are those the things Joker sees that we don't? And if I AM seeing them too... What does that mean?!

I don't mind if he intermittently strays away from the purple scheme.

We get Batman finally in grey and we get Joker in all black :wow:

Ah, but that's the edge WB wants!

Marvel is all sunshine and rainbows after all :o

According to some Marvel fans The Winter Soldier was a political thriller. I don't know what that says about DC.
