Jared Leto IS The Joker - Part 9

But they're barely visible underneath the tattoos. It wouldn't make much sense.

No, I think he has them because he was in the Robin suit when the real Joker busted him up :)

There's nothing to say he is, and there's nothing to say he isn't...
Just the J on the cheek and the vague dialogue from BvS :o

Why would the Joker have a J on his face?

Probably for the same reason he has damaged on his face. At least the J looks less stupid.

I was mentioning the point that the "J" on Joker's face could be for "Joker" and not Jason Todd

I know, I'm just saying it could be a self aware thing like the damaged one. Labeling himself with a J that could stand for his own name.

agreed...now if it was a "T" or a "D" or a "R" I would give this rumor some thought

I'm surprised no ones mentioned the fact that Jared Leto is actually a year older than Ben Affleck. Ayer doesn't strike me as a director that misses a detail like that. Leto was cast for a reason, cause hes a great joker.

i say, we want a heart-wrenching reason Batman won't kill the joker (or otherwise indirectly let him die a-la Ras in Batman Begins). One of the best reasons would be, deep down, he wants to save him/loves him/etc, and what better way to do that than to have Joker be once his side-kick, one of his few friends. No cops out "your one rule", no wish-washy Anakin scenario ("If i

Why can't Batman love the Joker without him being Robin? Maybe Bruce knew the Joker before he fell into the vat of chemicals at ACE and Bruce was in a relationship with him.

People are reading way too much in Bruce's line from the trailer, methinks.

He's clearly justifying himself to Alfred. "Is it really that surprising that I've become more cynical and aggressive? Gotham has that effect on people."

:funny:

The line is about Bruce himself. It's not some veiled reference to Robin (who for some reason is the same age as Batman) becoming the Joker. Using that line as "evidence" is tenuous at best.

It's the "Davinci Code" reading into stuff that people have been doing since the trailers came out...actually it was before that since people were examining pics and interviews since the start.

The fact that I agree with Astro and Broseph on something makes me want to punch myself in the face, but this is a pretty stupid theory. There is literally no evidence that points to The Joker being Jason Todd. None that makes any sense or isn't a complete reach anyway.

I feel honored :hehe:

This isn't the comics, cartoons or video games. There is no proof that The Joker in THIS movie is Jason Todd.
You're right, it's not; however these movies are heavily based on the comics. Sometimes the cartoons, sometimes they take video game details as well.
There's nothing to say he is, and there's nothing to say he isn't...
Exactly.
You know they're not all connected or even in the same universe right?
You do know that the movies take adaptation liberties from all comics, cartoons, video games, etc. connected or not, right? :whatever:
Why would the Joker have a J on his face?
Never discounted this either, just so we're clear.

True; and with that said, Leto has amazing genetics and still looks a lot younger than most actors his age range. And Hollywood doesn't care about age so much in that aspect (Regina George to Mrs. George, the Silk Spectres, Mr. Schuester to Finn Hudson, Claire Huxtable to Sondra Huxtable, etc.)
So it's not out there to believe Leto's Joker(s?) could be playing younger than Affleck's Batman.

I don't think Leto's actual age makes a difference. He doesn't look older than Affleck. In fact Leto looks a lot younger than he actually is. It's very common for actors to be cast as characters who are older or younger than they actually are. I mean I'm pretty sure there's not meant to be nearly 20 years between the ages of Joker and Harley, but that's the age gap between Leto and Robbie. But they don't look it.

Leto made up as the Joker doesn't exactly look all that young guys. Eye wrinkles, mouth wrinkles, forehead wrinkles are all visible, and the lack of eyebrows have aged him as well.

I have a hard time buying him as being more than five years younger than Batfleck.

In the movie Leto looks like he's in his 30's and Bruce looks like he's late 40's and maybe even early 50's. Leto could easily be playing Robin regardless of his actual age.

Plenty of late 20s-late 30 year olds have eye/mouth/forehead wrinkles. As for lack of eyebrows, that's not really an age thing.

Well that's you, for others, it's not so hard.

Yep.

For clarity, there is no precedent for Jason Todd becoming the Joker.

This particular line of trolling was exhausted long ago, anyway.

I'm just going to have to respectfully agree to disagree with the "Joker Todd" theorists.

On that note, I'm checking myself out. This conversation does nothing for me.

There doesn't need to be a precedent for it to happen though.
And it's not trolling.

Fair enough.

No, but there should be a precedent for someone to claim there is a precedent.
