This thread has veered off course. Back to the Justice League and stuff (non BDSM & transgender stuff).

Did you see the part that mentions she already had a transsexual husband?

I kinda doubt it's one big coincidence that she was into two men - totally devoted to her as "slaves" - who both happened to decide to become women without any input or promission from her.
I dunno. I'm not ready to believe it's a conspiracy just yet. Two is a small number.

funny I thought this was the Justice League thread .
Can we get back to the topic at hand please ?

Yeah, no, seriously. I meant my comment as something offhand, I didn't at all mean to cause this kind of detour. I'm sorry.

On topic, if you look at how the Wachowskis have been able to adapt to the source material at hand thoroughout their careers, you should feel really great about having them on a JL movie. From The Matrix, to V For Vendetta to Speed Racer, to this new project they're doing, they've adapted extremely different narative and tonal styles all while maintaining a very high level of quality in both writing and directing techniques.

I wouldn't at all think or assume that their JL movie would simply be The Matrix 4 or Speed Racer 2 - I could see them doing something totally different and unique with it, to fit with the characters at hand.

Yeah that's how I see it too.

I wasn't a fan of Speed Racer however if they did JL I'd feel pretty good about it. They know action, and special effects as well as anybody in the business. If they weren't up for Justice League I'd say let them do Batman too. However I've never seen them do ensemble before which I suppose is different.

Frankly what they did with the fights and flying in Matrix is pretty much what we all had wanted from a Superman or any superhuman live action fight ever.

what do you mean ensemble? wasn't that what the matrix was? you had reeves, fishburne, that chick that played trinity.......

Couldn't agree more. I think a Trinity film is a much better long-term strategy than JL, and it gives them a better point of difference from The Avengers. A lot of the general moviegoing public will look at JL as a bit of an Avengers clone by the time it comes out.
Indeed.A JL movie will be looked at as TA clone especially if it comes out the same year as Avengers 2 which is what WB seems to be planning .

I also like the concept of Superman,Batman,Wonderwoman meeting before they formed the Jl.It explains their strong bond. Also its cool to see this 3 meet since they are the leaders of the Justice league and by extension Leaders of all Dc heroes.Their meeting cld be
The Trinity movie will be about how these 3 set in course a series of evnts that brought about the Age of Superheroes, all in order to save the world from destruction. You cld say its a prequel to my JL idea.

I doubt WB would go for it though- because they may feel the Trinity is too small in number to bring Avengers like Success.Which is stupid considering that The Avengers only had 4 heroes-Blackwidow and Hawkeye were just supporting charcaters.Theres also the fact the Trinity has Batman

But I'd switch around Wonder Woman and Trinity. They've always struggled with Diana as a studio. Using Trinity to introduce her is a better strategy.
Id agree with you but the Trinity movie already has the rsponsibility of introducing a rebooted Batman-which may or may not piss people off.I just dont think it would be a good idea of putting the additional burdenof introducing WW to the audience into a Trinity movie..

Ben Affleck definitely isn’t directing Justice League, but could the Wachowskis take his place?

Meanwhile, the top contenders to take on the project are reportedly the Wachowskis, whose work on Cloud Atlas was reportedly good enough to convince Warner Bros. that they can handle a crazy, multi-character, big-budget blockbuster, even if their post-Matrix track record hasn't been all that great (give or take our well-documented love of Speed Racer). The Wachowskis have at various points been connected to a Plastic Man and one of the many failed attempts to reboot the Superman franchise, although it's an open question how much they would want to go back to the studio system after the probably much freer rein they had on Cloud Atlas.

I always saw neo as the one and everyone else as supporting characters. In JL everyone should be on equal footing.

It makes me a little uneasy. Overall, the Wachooskis aren't the worst, and I even enjoyed their bad movies. But honestly, If the Wachowskis crash the Justice League it's not just gonna be a stumble, it's gonna be a trainwreck. But I'd rather wait until they say theri piece on it. Or until they say that it's not true.

They obviously want someone that can recreate in a sense what Whedon did, but you need someone that KNOWS these characters and their dynamics over the years. They don't have to be experts, but they should have some knowledge about how each of them have interacted in the various JL incarnations over the decades and just take bits and pieces from them. Like we know one of the mainstays has always been that Batman is viewed as a valuable intellectual member of the team but at the same time some of them don't like how paranoid or standoffish he can get in regards to things.

I said the choices have gotten worse and worse. I don't class Affleck with Bay, far from it. as at least some people seem to like him, even if the movies he has made so far are not to my taste. Bay was the worst director I could think of, far worse than even the Wachowskis. It's called hyperbole, folks. :)

i feel like WB is doing what deadline (or maybe hollywood reporter? variety?) said is that they're going down their stable of big directors. I'd like for them to reach out more though.

If you wanted someone at Joss's level, you would have to get his counter-part: JJ Abrams. Or at least, his associates.

Yep, pretty much. The final fight against the Agent in Revolutions was pure Superman.

Minus the shirtless blonde people shouting. :cwink::oldrazz:

There was a good deal of Dragonball Z there too.
When I first seen Revolutons in theaters and the final fight the first thought that came to my mind was "THEY CAN FINALLY MAKE A LIVE ACTION DBZ!!!!!!!!".......

And then we Got Evolution
