Actually, I kind of agree with that article. Nolan is the first hurdle because of what he was doing with the Batman franchise.
http://www.**************.com/images/users/gallerypictures/27128L.pngThis is now definitely confirming Warner Bros' plans about the Justice League movie. Hero Complex is reporting that studio is indeed moving forward, as the script for the film is in the works. Also many thought what would happen with Batman after The Dark Knight Rises. Well, it looks like they will reinvent the character, with Christopher Nolan producing.
But Robinov said a new Justice League script is in the works. Also being written for Warner are scripts featuring the Flash and Wonder Woman, who could be spun off into their own movies after Justice League. Though Wonder Woman is also in the works as a television pilot for NBC produced by Warner, Robinov dismissed that as a sticking point. "Wonder Woman could be a film as well, the same way that ‘Superman Returns’ came out while ‘Smallville’ was on."
Batman will continue to be a centerpiece property beyond next year’s 'The Dark Knight Rises' and Nolan’s departure from the franchise. "We have the third Batman, but then we’ll have to reinvent Batman." Asked whether that meant he wanted to reinvent or possibly even reboot the character, Robinov answered assertively: "I do. Chris Nolan and [producing partner and wife] Emma Thomas will be producing it, so it will be a conversation with them about what the next phase is."

Why is Nolan involved in a possible Justice League movie if his Batman Universe will not be involved ?
Technically yes on all three. Ryan Reynolds' Green Lantern we'll have to wait and see I guess, but I heard the same thing. Though just because they haven't gone The Avengers route of obviously tying all the movies together doesn't mean the actors cannot reprise their roles for a JL movie, just means it won't necessarily have to follow the previous film(s) continuity.I'm happy about this, but also confused. Didn't Nolan say that Zack Snyder's Superman - The Man of Steel would be set in a self-contained Universe much like the Batman movies? It looks like Green Lantern had all its references to a DC Movieverse removed as well. Or is the idea not to have Henry Cavill and Christian Bale return?
It's more likely he's emphasizing the approach to each property works independent of the others, as to maximize in utilizing the highest potentials of the respective films.I'm happy about this, but also confused. Not really. It could be done. It all depends on when they're planning to release it.
