It's not difficult to 'retool' the films into one verse.
Bale's Batman was the first public superhero, just like in the Timmverse. Therefore, it's understandable why his world is hyper-realistic and there's no other heroes known to man just yet.
I'll guess I'll be the first to post my fan cast after the news;
Christian Bale (The Fighter) as Batman/Bruce Wayne

Ryan Reynolds (Buried) as Green Lantern/Hal Jordan

Henry Cavill (Immortals) as Superman/Clark Kent

Sam Worthington (Clash of the Titans) as Aquaman/King Orin

Scott Porter (The Good Wife) as The Flash/Barry Allen

Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker) as Green Lantern/John Stewart

Kevin Durand (Legion) as Martian Manhunter/Detective John Jones

Jaimie Alexander (Thor) as Wonder Woman

Yes, I thought about him too. He was my old favorite.
It's a stupid thing to make JL so soon. The superheroes need the solo films first.
Something especially hard to understand is why they first make Green Lantern, then suddenly JL and no The Flash or Wonder Woman before that. Just that way to develop the DC universe has no logic at all, and I can't see any explanation for it other than a desperate way to compete with Avengers.
No I say: stick to your own way. Don't try to copy Marvel. Let each of the heroes exist in their own universe and come out as the only superpowered being the world knows.
Worthington is not a badass. The only badass role he was in was Terminator Salvation. Avatar he had cool fight scenes and Clash of the Titans he wasnt a badass
Cant lose an accent, cant show emotion, cant act
Alexander Skaarsgard is a good choice. Height doesnt matter.
HeyUGuys asked Zack Snyder the very question of his upcoming take on Superman..
‘It doesn’t. Like what Chris Nolan is doing and what I’m doing with Superman, what they’ll do with Justice League will be it’s own thing with it’s own Batman and own Superman. We’ll be over here with our movie and they kinda get to do it twice which is kinda cool’
