Won't be done. 2014 absolute minimum.

ok....but that doesnt answer the question. How is it not feasible to come out in 2013?

If it doesnt fine. Im just dont see what makes it hard not to come out in 2013

They're already developing a Script. Filming in 2012 and a release in 2013 is not out of the picture. Especially when everyone already has a contract to return if that is the case.

Well of course you could throw anything together within 2 years if you simply want to make a deadline, but if want it good and you don't want it to eat away at potential GL sequel and Flash solo film which is looking more and more likely to be given a green light 2013 is far too soon.

as I said if they skip past making solo films it's feasible. It's not mission impossible to reach the 2013 deadline

Do I think they should? Eh I dont really think so. Introducing a new Batman actor, which I suspect theyll do, might be too soon after TDKR only released the last year and which Im sure will still be in people's minds. And I rather have the solo films come first approach.

But why is Robinov saying that a Flash movie will come after JL? Why is he ready to start a JL movie before Superman and GL have their sequels, or before Flash has been established? Why is he talking about his plans with Nolan and retooling Batman? Why is he bringing this up now, instead of just saying he has plans to make sequels to these solo movies?

Bale won't return, put money on it.
With Nolan staying on-board, I wouldn't say it's definitive. From Bale's own mouth, he's willing to go on given Nolan is steering the ship.

I know he said that, but I too suspect that Bale wont return

At this point, we've had two (three if you want to include Bana) actors who played Hulk, so it's kinda moot.

It's not difficult to 'retool' the films into one verse.

Bale's Batman was the first public superhero, just like in the Timmverse. Therefore, it's understandable why his world is hyper-realistic and there's no other heroes known to man just yet.

I'll guess I'll be the first to post my fan cast after the news;

Christian Bale (The Fighter) as Batman/Bruce Wayne

Bet your house on it, Rises will be Bale's last run as Batman.

Coz he's an actor and won't want to be stuck play superheroes forever, he won't return after Rises, you can put every dollar you own on it.

Only somewhat true if the role is deemed meritless or restrictive to playing other career-sustaining and artistically worthwhile parts. Neither of which has been the case (thus far). In fact, Bale himself has attributed his current success to the Batman franchise and that raised status allows him to maintain his indie roots.

So no, this is hardly definitive. There are no indications he'd swiftly leave with Nolan still on-board. That's pure conjecture.

Bale said during the press for Batman that he'd do 6 Batman films as long as Nolan is involved and the quality is maintained. He said he loves the character and would do it till he's old and wrinkly.

He doesn't see himself as above superhero films, especially in an Oscar winning BILLION dollar franchise.

I'm with jmc on this, I really don't think Bale will be back after Rises. I could be wrong, but I just don't think it will happen.

Sam Worthington (Clash of the Titans) as Aquaman/King Orin

No way! NO SAM WORTHINGTON. That guy can't act if his life depended on it. He screams like an eight year old girl and can't disguise his accent for sh-t.

All I can say is WOOOOOOOOOOOO HHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO I love the idea of a KILLER JLA movie! Psyched to hear this news!!!

NOOOO. NO SAM WORTHINGTON. That guy can't act if his life depended on it. He screams like a damn 8yr old girl and can't disguise his accent for *****.

He wouldn't need to disguise his accent as Orin, the King of Atlantis.

Plus he's considered a badass, the type of actor Aquaman needs to be taken seriously.

I wouldn't mind him in that role. After the Titans films, it would feel like an easy transition. He's already a favorite at Warners and is getting high profile gigs now.

Who considers him a badass? When people are listing off badass actors I never see anyone mention him. Besides losing his accent he's a stale actor and shows little to no emotions

I'd rather have Jason Statham play Aquaman than I would Sam Worthington... And I REALLY wouldn't want Statham as Aquaman.

Trust me, they can find MUCH better actors for a lot cheaper.

Hollywood does. That's why he's usually listed for these 'macho' type roles.

Orin can be pretty cold and emotionless as well. I think he has potential in this role. I wouldn't say he's quite right for any other DC characters though. It's an action role I believe he has proven he could pull off.
