BvS Lex Luthor Casting Thread - Part 3

I don't oppose casting a black actor as Lex- I just fail to see anything in Idris Elba that particularly suits the part.

There appears to be an unwritten rule in fancasting that the prospective actor has to either be an exact physical match to the part, irrespective of talent, or be Idris Elba.

I'm open to it because I'm open to the interpretation. I think if he was chosen it would be a bold choice, but I don't really see anything about him either.

I for one don't want a traditional Lex. That doesn't mean I want Elba, but I don't want a short bald man. I just don't I want it. I want to see Synder push the envelope on this.

The only name I hear that makes me truly consider him is Jonn Hamm (?). Don't know if I'm spelling his name right, but the dude from Mad Men. I could see him as Lex.

Sometimes I feel like peoples criteria for casting Lex Luthor is whether or not the actor would look good bald.

le sigh...if you read any of this thread you would have seen I don't want a bald Lex at all. I'm also not a watcher of Dexter, so I don't see why he would be a choice. But if you like him then that's fine.
