Looks decent. This is about what I expected.
It's clearly only bringing out the Power Rangers proper in the third act, which is a gosh darn shame for a Power Rangers movie. Hopefully we'll see good action and character drama earlier on, but I somehow doubt it. The designs still look bad, but they work better in motion, which is quite thankful. It does seem like it will be funny, if they're able to hold back the comedic lines, so that will probably carry it into the decent level.
Switching tones dramatically for the trailers is not comforting. It's not something I've seen as 'standard' though someone can correct me.
Kaney's Power does indeed work here for me, though it does point back to Fant4stic, which really kinda drives home the similarities in marketing and really undercuts any assurance this trailer is supposed to give. It does seem odd that these trailers about teams of people with powers contain the lyrics "No one man should have all that power." That's weird.
CGI is weak and silly, Rita is ultra-camp, action is limited, character drama is hit and miss. Comedy is surprisingly good, most characters seem multi-dimensional, third act promises to tick all the PR boxes. Will be fun, not memorable.
