The CG would be horrendous. I still remember that episode in Legends of Tomorrow where Ray went gigantic and fought a giant robot. Effects looked like the MMPR '95 movie.

Still earlier with only what 14 reviews. But if your a power ranger fan 50 percent on RT would be awesome all things considered. Shoot, I think even Lionsgate would be thrilled with that percentage.

Nah, it'll be fine. Most Power Rangers seasons wouldn't hold up to critical review as good. We enjoy them cause they hit the right notes of awe and excitement.

Even still, my rule of thumb seems to be either the martial arts school or the government sanctioned teams are consistently worth checking out and even worth adapting premise-wise.

Honestly if the movie's rt meter is in the 50's i consider that not necessarily a win but it would actually put me in good spirits. I mean it's freakin' Power Rangers. The first movie would have gotten creamed today. (I don't remember the critical reception in 1995).

Roger Ebert gave it a half star review. I think his word counts a lot.

I still wonder what things would be like if he were alive today and how he'd view movies today and how he'd view the current blockbuster landscape of perpetual Marvel and Star Wars movies.
