I like the deleted cameo better then the 2nd one they shot . JDF looked FULL ON Tommy with that hair! Though I would've liked for those two to have slightly more impactful cameos.

If this film gets a sequel they really need to readjust and make it more fun.

Finally saw the movie and it's everything I thought it would be after seeing the trailers. They totally went the wrong way with the story. The rangers getting superpowers without morphing, them needing to learn how to fight, and being unable to morph without "the power of friendship" just seem like unnecessary additions to the whole concept. They're just bad choices. Combine that with the meh aesthetic of the whole thing, it's a dud. I will say though the characters were really likeable and their interactions were fun to watch. I would honestly love to them see them again. But the thing is even if this does get a surprise sequel, it's just very unlikely that it will be better. Either we're going to get a movie similar to this one or they'll double down on the action and lose the fun character work that made this film charming.

Oh and forget about Tommy or Jason. I'm totally shipping Kimberly with Trini after this . They're such baes and they were totally eyeing each other .

Yeah not a fan of the green ranger design, needs to be closer to the red ranger look but with a shield and more gold in general.

She wasn't supposed to be the Tommy Oliver Green Ranger. Naturally the helmet and suit differs. The visor area is more open and more rounded (less aggressive) compared to the Red Ranger helmet. Someone did a great manip/photoshop of what Tommy's would potentially look like.

So the deleted scenes explain that whole van plot hole. And man were those Trini/Kimberly scenes awesome! I need a sequel now! I really liked these characters so much!

Tommy I think they are saving him for the sequel well the new Tommy Oliver who will obviously replace JDF...especially given the post credit scene of Tommy's intro with the Green Ranger tease but no sign of Tommy so they are obviously trying to cast a new actor to play Tommy in a sequel

Plus in the sequel you could build up Tommy and Jason as rivals in the beginning before having them put their differences aside for the Ranger Team...or Rita basically recruits Tommy and you have Tommy as an Evil Ranger turned good

I really liked the Breakfast Club half of the movie. The Power Rangers stuff wasn't written/ directed/ edited very well. So it built my curiosity for some time before derailing and losing my interest.
