His investigation into Batman and the branding deaths in Gotham led him to discover dangerous truths about Lex Luthor and/or he actually was one of the first to catch wind of what eventually became the STAR Labs disappearances. Let Perry in on the fact that Clark is Superman, have Bruce pull some strings, and that should be enough to satisfy.

That actually could work it's what they did for Rebirth with Lois and Intergang.

Since it doesn't seem like Cavill is going to show up in "Shazam", I guess that means that we will have to wait for either JL sequel or a MOS sequel to see him again, and I don't see neither of those films coming out until at least 2020 or 2021.

If Cavill is in the film, given that he wasn't announced along with the rest of the cast, doesn't that mean that he would be more of a cameo then?

RDJ was announced with the rest of the cast for SH because he had more than one scene in the film.

It's common to get casting announcements throughout the production, and if it's a cameo then it could be an extended, or short cameo...either way...we'll see what happens next year.

Hopefully we get something at SDCC regarding MOS2

If they are gonna reboot this again, I'm giving up on Superman movies really, as I'm very tired of reboots, especially in this case.

To be honest I've got no major issues with 2013 movie, I believe that Henry is a very good Clark/Superman, the movie was quite solid, I enjoyed it much more than the one from 2006 or what year was it (with Routh & Spacey). So I personally don't think this needs a reboot. They should focus in fixing the issues that the first one had in the sequel and make an epic movie!

They shouldn't and it would be stupid if they did but at this point nothing the WB does surprises me anymore.

I don't think MOS 2 is happening until a director shows WB a desire to do it and pushes them forward. I think MOS 2 is likely to remain in limbo and slowly fade away.

I think it's gonna happen, I just think it's not a priority right now. One things for sure whatever happens we'll see Supeeman in live action again. Whether that's open a film or a TV show I don't know but we'll see him again.

I agree with this.

I honestly don't think WB wants to devote significant amounts of time and money to the character anymore. In twenty years' time and untold millions of dollars' expense, all they've gotten to show for all of that is a misguided sequel to the previous Superman film franchise and a reboot that wasn't even able to ignite a new one and essentially reduced him to second-banana status in subsequent films. Those are not results that I'd consider conducive to wanting to keep throwing time and money at trying to make a new stand-alone Superman movie.

I figure whatever big "announcement" gets made in the future will relate to whose movie he's going to guest-star in. Oh, yeah, and WB will toss out more of that dogs-barking, any-day-now "still looking for a script, director, etc." blah-blah-blah.
