Aren't you trying to say the opposite?
Everyone is predicting 600M + which is blowing them out of the water.
Aren't you trying to say the opposite?
Anyone who says this movie isn't trending or tracking well, needs to be examined. This movie has so much hype its unreal. Its facebook count goes up daily by the thousands. Its already getting rave reviews from several people. This movie will exceed expectations. Google trends! Lol
600mil would be good for a reboot, those are just facts. If you think we aren't getting a sequel (which I am most concerned about if I like the film) if MOS makes 600mil worldwide you are living in a world of make believe.
Of course the movie was expensive and needs to make a certain amount, no one is contending with that but 600mil worldwide is a lot and would be a good result for a franchise starter. You and other fans are acting like anything under a billion (I know your list isn't saying that really but that's the feeling I get from a lot of fans) will be seen as a failure because you are letting your hype for the film get to you.
I'm sure Warners has expectations but seeing how other reboots have performed I'm sure their expectations are more realistic than 750-1bil or else no sequels or anything else. Those are fanboy expectations.
looking at the graph, google trends do tell.Anyone who says this movie isn't trending or tracking well, needs to be examined. This movie has so much hype its unreal. it only tells that there is a lot of geeks in your area.My local Wal-Mart sold out within a few hours.

I know 600 m will earn MOS a sequel.
I'm just saying 750+ m would automatically greenlight solo movies for practically every founding member of the Justice League.

anyway, i know everybody is hyped here, me including. but if in the end, MOS did 600M or slightly less; i don't want us getting disappointed or blaming... i want it be regarded as a success.
Aight. I knew it would happen. gotta raise my estimate. I'm just hearing too many good things no to. If i'm wrong, i'm wrong.
OW. 115/120 mill
DOM 325
OS 375.
No it wouldn't. GL killed that chance a long time ago.
If anything it would motivate WB to consider a Batman/Superman series or get moving on JL.
I could go up again, but I think 700 mill is a nice number.800M is in the Spider-Man (2002) territory. Is that your final answer?
I could go up again, but I think 700 mill is a nice number.
The Spider-Man movies are the only movies that cleared the 700M marker on the start of a franchise. Avengers doesn't count cause it's basically coming off 5 movies.
True. but name one film, DC or Marvel, other than ( like you said ) spider-man, that had this much hype FROM THE PUBLIC that was a fresh start. The Spider-Man movies are the only movies that cleared the 700M marker on the start of a franchise. Avengers doesn't count cause it's basically coming off 5 movies.

Well that would be great except IM3 wasn't selling any tickets due to the Disney/AMC/Regal stand off at this point in the sales cycle.
