I never watched the Tudors, so I'm not really famililar with him. Though he has some nice eyes...and other parts.
I'm hopeful Superman will gain in popuarity among women after MOS, I really am. He should get the attention he deserves.
And since this is a Comic-Con thread, I've noticed a lot of audience questions come from women. The interest is definitely there. Years ago when Tom Welling was at the Smallville panel, one girl went to the mic and asked him a question, then added if he could please reply it slowly, so she'd have him looking at her for as long as possible or something like that. It was hysterical! The audience laughed and so did the panelists and Tom was a good sport and did just what she asked. "Weeell, IIIIII saaaay...." he went.
Henry looked really nice at the panel, if a little tired. He was adorable. Hope he comes back next year, together with Amy Adams!
not reallyIMO, this ONE factor depends on how they portray Lois. If she comes off like an ass then it doesn't matter how hot he is. I believe one of the reasons Supes has such a large fan base with women (even to this day) is because of the Supes/Lois/Clark dynamic. When done right it's magic...always. When done wrong...like SR...it's a tragedy.
This is the funniest story I have ever heard. That's awesome. I always liked Tom Welling and can't understand why he got such hate.
She's the wild card for me. I wonder why she wasn't at SDCC? I would have liked to see them together. A lot of folks keep saying she looks way older than Cavill and I don't want another old looking Lois ala Kidder.
And this is what I feel like is the ace up the sleeve for MoS, because they cast Amy Adams, probably the most famously likable A-list actress in Hollywood, for the role. Likability is her superpower. So whatever is (or isn't) there on the page for Lois, Amy will make us love her and root for her. That's what she does. There's NO WAY we'll have another SR/Bosworth situation on our hands this time.IMO, this ONE factor depends on how they portray Lois. I think we will get some shots of those piercing blues in mos. The shot on the trailer where he looks up from the fishing boat shows them off well, and I'd like to think we'll get some better shots than that. Great post btw
Yeah, the intensity of the blue can certainly be increased by the color timing of the image, as that photo demonstrates.

jim lee all the way
Agreed; and out of all of the actresses to have played the role, she's the only one to have a lot of impressive credentials attached to her resume prior towards taking on the role. Every other actress only started to become popular by the mainstream media because of them having accepted the role of "Lois Lane".

IMO, she has enough of a youthful look, while Henry looks a bit older than he actually is.
Some fans have been wondering how quickly she'll age, though, if this is going to be a trilogy. I'm hoping she's so good in the role, no one will care about her age anymore, like how folks left and right complained about Anne playing Catwoman when the casting announcement came but many now admit she was amazing (and she was)!
You should check out The Fighter. Her character in that had a lot more attitude than in those 2 movies you mentioned, and if anything, it made her even MORE likable. The only movies with Amy Adams I remember are The Muppets and Enchanted. I thought she was very refreshing in Enchanted. The Muppets was a snore, but she did well and I do remember thinking she seems very likable. That's definitely a good sign.

No problem! It's a great movie in general. Adams, Christian Bale and Melissa Leo were all fantastic in it (and all deservedly nominated for Oscars for it, too).I did not know she was in that!!!! I've been looking at that in my Netflix queue forever...I think I'll check it out. Thanks!![]()
Yeah, that was a great one, too.Actually of all the films i've seen her in, I think I liked Sunshine Cleaning the best![]()
Heat vision! That's actually one of those random things from the comics I really hope to see in this one.So how does he shave that anyway? Kryptonian razor in the spaceship?
