I like Affleck....I wish he'd take it
^^ He may take up Batman.
So, Brad Bird for Justice League.
DD has soured him on superhero movies
Would love that but I think the rumour was they'll look at David Yates next
W.F. film...I really wish WB would do that first. It would a good way to set up a JL film if they are so dead set on making one.
Before BB came out, the TAS '"World's Finest" was, I felt, the best representation of Batman outside of the comic page yet. Those episodes were beautifully put together. It'd be great if a live action could capture some of that sort of mean fun that Batman/Wayne was having with Kent, maybe moving in on Lois, Supes showing at times how easy it is to just end something, etc.A WF film would be awesome......It would be so simple to set up JL in it.
Have Lex and Metallo team up with the Joker and Solomon Grundy. The villains each switch cities, Joker to metropolis, Lex to Gotham.
The kicker is they would have out of this world ( literally) weapons. It could be discovered toward the end, after the villains are defeated, that a higher power was behind the scenes pulling the strings, ie, Brainiac or Darkseid, and they were just testing the waters before they invade to steal all the Eath's resources, and to ultimately destroy it in the end.
When the Invasion plans are discovered, Bats and Supes know they will need help.
Last shots of the film could show Bats and Supes out in the world recruiting the likes of the flash, WW, etc etc...(It will be a massive invasion plan. It will have to be in order to cause supes and bats to seek out help.)
Thats if they are set on a JL film. I'd be happy with just a WF film myself.
I agree, and thats the Batman I would want in a WF and/or JL film. Before BB came out, the TAS '"World's Finest" was, I felt, the best representation of Batman outside of the comic page yet. "Knight Time" I believe. That was good to. I like how Drake was telling him "..you have to look angrier...", poking fun at Batman being such a sourpuss.I truly love STAS WF and I agree! My second fav is the eposide where Supes dressed as Batman and beat the crap out of Bane...lol. Classic!
I would really like to see WF in film. I agree as well with GreenKToo that it's a better route to go before any potential JL movie. Plus, I think the team up of Bats and Supes is awesome and should be explored in film. Their buddy comics are the best IMO.
Yup. I think it would be beyond cool to see them mistrusting each other at first, then by the end they are best friends forever.

"Over The Edge" was pretty jaw-droppingly good.
I remember with the W.F. one....I caught like the last five minutes of the last episode when it played on TV...and it was like "Whoa....what the...this looks like it was a amazing, what did I miss?" Then it was on VHSO) as 'The Batman/Superman Movie' with some very childish-lookign cover art, and I got a little worried. But then I watched it, and I wondered why this wasn't being hailed as a huge achievement.
Y'know...I'm frankly not crazy about the idea of a Bats/Supes 'buddy' movie, but I would like to see them at odds or at war...maybe like in the Dark Knight Rises comic. I don't know what Peterson's aborted Batman vs. Superman storyline was, but of course it would end up that they were ultimately fighting for the same goals. Something more iconoclastic and that perhaps portrays a darker side of the concept of Superman, and Batman somehow being the only human aside from Luthor who really could possibly find a way to kill Superman if he wanted to.
