{{New stuff: Hulk (R) - Quasar (U) - Thug (E) - Vulture (V) - Blade (R) - Rogue (E)}}
And it happened right in my house. Kee-ool.
Two teams, four players, 500 points per player.
Cyclops's Team: - Quasar (U) - Professor Xavier (E) - Wolverine (E) - Juggernaut (E) - Rogue (V) - Scarlet Witch (V)
&
Sister's Team: - Nightmare (U) - Bullseye (E) - Hercules (V) - Sabretooth (V) - Annihilus (V)
Vs.
Gambit's Team: - Captain America (U) - Spider-Man (U) - Pyro (V) - Firelord (V) - Hulk (E) - Elektra (V) - Jean Grey (V)
&
Brother (formerly known as Mini-Hulk on these boards): - Kingpin (V) - Daredevil (V) - Whirlwind (E) - Controller (R) - Constrictor (R) - Wolfsbane (E) - SHIELD Agent (R) - SHIELD Medic (R) - Skrull Warrior (R, E, & V) - Blade (V)
The lowdown: The shopping mall map. A huge melee ensued when all the pieces swarmed outside to confront each other.
My main strategy fell when Firelord got a critical hit on Quasar, a full six clicks. So I had to change. Juggernaut, Hercules, & Sabretooth swarmed out and hit Mini-Hulk's team down a lot. Numbers don't mean power. Spider-Man had Outwit with him after afew hits, cancelling Annihilus's Invulnerability, allowing Firelord to hit him. Hard. Nightmare and Rogue swarmed through Gambit's team, taking out Captain America, Jean, Pyro, and Spider-Man. Hulk retreated under Firelord's fire to grab a dumpster.
Mini-Hulk finally went down as he pushed Blade too far to take Bullseye out, and it was down to Nightmare, Juggernaut, Wovlerine and Rogue to handle Firelord and Hulk. Rogue and Wolverine pegged Firelord down enough before being taken down to allow Juggernaut to crush Firelord, and Nightmare and Juggernaut pummeled Hulk down enough to get the win for my side.
This was the most engaging game of anything I've ever played... and so incredibly nerve-wracking. Immensely fun.
