hey cyke, how come in the Universe set, Wolverine and Sabertooth arent archenemies? same with spider-man. I saw a new starter and realized there are no color bases.

It's just the specific versions for the Starter. The Starter has specialized versions of the characters that don't appear anywhere else, so they did away with the arch enemy thing.

New info on Mutant Mayhem:

- 97 characters

- new teams will include the Marauders, Alpha Flight, and the Reavers

introduces feat cards, which convey additional powers and abilities, batlefield condition cards, which affect the environment, and bystander tokens, which feature some of the most popular supporting characters in the Marvel universe

- one of the figures will be a ultra-rare, one-of-a-kind Master Piece Spider-Man, which will come with a certificate of authenticity

- other figures will be an oversized Giant Man figure, Firestar, Blade, and one character I don't recognize

- the set will have some alternate versions of characters that have already been made, but the majority of the figures will be new

That figure you don't recognize looks to be Madeline Pryor, the Black Queen.
Looks like Ultimate Giant Man also.

I just started playing this a couple weeks ago, and in my first booster I pulled a veteran Spider-man... I was pretty excited.

Is it wrong that now I want to make my own maps with buildings that are a foot tall on it?

I think it was an infinity challenge one.

I think it's kind of funny that out of the thirty or so characters that I have now, the only duplicate I've gotten was a Spider-man (one is experienced and one is a veteran, but that's the closest I have to a duplicate... for now.) Considering he is my favorite comic character.

So I've officially decided that I'm going to make a "New York City" Outside environment. I have an idea on how to make buildings that are both cool looking and changable from game to game.

Also I'm thinking I want to have a Daily Bugle and a Baxter building in the game. Are there any suggestions on other buildings that I could put in that are "essential" to the Marvel Universe.

personally, i think the infinity challenge one is the worst spidey. Both dial wise and sculpt. Ultimate and Critical Mass ones are better (in both dial and sculpt)

I see, oh well, maybe later I'll end up with one of those versions.

So I'm working on my baxter building for 3-d map. When it's finished it's going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 22 inches tall. I'm pretty happy with it.

Does anyone know where I can find images of the daily Bugle Building? (Either comic book or movie) I'd like to make one of those next.

this is the Daily Bugle building in real life except it's not for the DB. Its the Flat iron Building. hope it helps

Yeah that helps a lot. I think I'll end up using that version, since in the comics it's very boxlike if I remember correctly, and I'd like my buildings to have a little bit of diversity.
