Marvel Heroclix

Oh, come on! You gotta admit - ask most Marvel readers to name five Marvel villains off the top of their heads, heck or even ten or twenty, and Blizzard's not gonna be on that list. :D :D

Besides, Blizzard's little more than a superpowered lackey. He's definitely no masterminding villain.

Oh,that hurt:( Big mutie Meanie:mad: :(

Thanks for the advise though.:) I'll try that,I think my 200 point would be
Annihilus ( E)
Wasp (U)
Klaw (R)

NO VISION!!!

This stinks! I have everything else I want. I just want one Vision. Is this too much to ask?

Argh! Anyone have a Vision they wanna trade for? If so what are you wanting for exchange?

I suppose 25 boosters are not too many packs to buy, about $175. I would just like to get one of those rare beauties. . .

Thwipp!

I wanna Vision too!! I wanna Dr. Strange!!! And he's not even unique!! But...... THANOS is a must........

The bottom of the dial and the card inside are for Dr. Strange, rookie or experienced version I am not sure. The top part of the base is a veteran Rogue and the character figure is Dr. Strange.

I kid you not this is what I pulled out of my box. So I am stuck with two pieces that do me no good.

GRRRRR!

Not much I can do about it. . .

ACtually I'm pretty sure you can use them as Dr. Strange but I'm not sure.

They make a lot of mistakes with Rogue, don't they? Apparently, Rookie Rogue has a flight stand even though she can't fly....

:D

You have a Quasar. I want a Quasar. Although you do not have a Vision. I have Vision.

I hope Wizkids ammends Quasar's powers to allow him to pick up multiple friendly characters like Green Lantern Corp members will be able to do. How cool would it be to have a Quasar or Rent Green Lantern to drop a few Wolverines or Sabertooths on someone's doorstep and blades/fang/claws that poor sob. . .

I a ton of duplicate lame characters like Rookie Hercules. I have 4 of those. Rookie Daredevil 3 of these. So on and so forth.

No one will trade with me either. . .

Oh well.

Thwipp!

I've got three duplicate Veteran Herculeses... and three duplicate Veteran Elektras.....

My first Marvel Vs. DC battle should happen sometime today. I'll keep you guys posted. :D

I'm confused.I was at heroclix.com and they have new Marvel Unques, just like thare alter ago but thare name is thare scret ideninty, like Kingpin is named Wilson Fisk. Well i was looking at the hobgoblin one and it said ned leeds. In '97 during the Hobgoblin lives mini series didnt it end up he wassent REALLY the hobgoblin?

Those are Limited Edition pieces. I'm not sure where you get them, but they'er not available in your average booster pack.

The LEs that really have me pissed are Antman and Yellowjacket. There's no figure on either of them, because they're "so small you can't see them"! Just damn lazy, if you ask me.

Cyclops's Team:

Magneto (V)
Hercules (V)
Controller (V)
Black Panther (V)
Skrull Warrior (V)
Spider-Man (V)
Daredevil (V)
Hydra Medic (V)
Scarlet Witch (V)

My Scenario: Hidden Prize

Gambit's Team:

Dr. Strange (E)
Kang (V)
Hulk (V)
Cyclops (V)
Hydra Medic (E)

Gambit's Scenario: Cavalry

Li'l Brother's Team:

Changeling (V)
Joker (U)
Riddler (V)
Nightwing (E)
Gorilla Grodd (R)
Intergang Medic (R)
Checkmate Medic (V)
Aquaman (E)
Skrull Agent (E)
Hydra Medic (R)
Hawk (R)
Plastic Man (R)
Vulture (R)
Lackey (E)

Li'l Brother's Scenario: Mindquake (Totally Forgotten)

Team value: 500 pts.

Map: Outdoor Pack Map 1.

The Ruuuuumbbbleeee!!

Gambit moves first, and moves Dr. Strange in to get close to the Stasis-bound Kang. Hulk goes around the side of the building while Cyclops moves up to the small white building on the side of the main one to get a good sniper position.

Brother's turn, moves Aquaman to grab lightpost, and Grodd to take a heavy item token, amongst other trivial moves.

My turn: Herc gets moved by Mags to grab the mailbox, and moves up to confront Grodd. I can handle him, I assume. Spider-Man moves in to spend some time figuring out the combination to the artifact's lock. Daredevil moves out with the Warrior, and Scarlet Witch gets into good position to change anybody's roll.

Gambit comes back around, frees Kang, and Cyclops and him begin shooting at Brother's forces.

Brother has Grodd smash Hercules critically, no thanks to a little thing called Outwit by Nightwing. But revenge is mine, when I outwit Grodd back, and kill him with a Herc-Warrior combo. Spidey waits some more. Panther runs around to try to deal with Kang. Best he can do though, is hide. Perplex is very annoying when used against you.

A lot of back and ofrth, and most pieces are taken out. I acomplish my scenario's goals, while Kang being defeated makes Gambit's scenario end.

End result:

Scenario victory is mine, even though I was taken out. Gambit won the battle portion, though. Yeah, I shortened it. Alot.

Did you see the shot of all four Fantastic members with the booster boxes on Wizkids' site?

I think the Sue and Johnny figures are older pieces before the flying bases were added. Well maybe Sue's rookie version will be flight-less, however I doubt Johnny's is.

I cannot wait!!!

Since the lame dock owners and workers have delayed my getting Marvel Legends Series Two till who knows when, I have shifted my enthusiasm to Heroclix!

DOOM will be mine!

Did you notice that Experienced Sue was about 57 points and Experienced Johnny was about 59? I wonder what that will make Reed and Ben? Wasn't it reported that the various levels all add up to a rounded point value like Rookie 4 team = 200 points; Experienced 4 team = 300 points; and Veteran 4 team = 400 points? Or something of that ilke. . .

So if Exp Sue and Johnny are 116 pts together that would mean the combo of Reed and Ben at Exp would be 184 pts, I doubt it would be the difference of 200 pts. So Reed and Ben would be at an average of 92 points each or something like that. Wow! Those are some stout Exp pieces!

I cannot wait. I am going to buy 6 boosters on day of release and may go in on a case with a friend. . .

Thwipp!

I've seen the sculpt for Thor in a Magazine somewhere, and it's impressive. I hope that he, like Invisible Woman, gains flight in his later incarnations. The ability to carry figures is an incredible, but often overlooked power. Not as good as Telekinetically moving someone (one: you don't put the mover in as much danger - two: you can TK Battle Fury figs, but you can't carry them), but still really good nonetheless.

I have the supreme power of THE VISION!!! And VETERAN WOLVERINE!!! FEAR ME!!! ENVY ME!!

I will just have to live with my Beserker LE.

Vision is great! He is a great addition to the Avengers and kicks some serious bootie.

Plus the FAQ on WizKids Games has made it clear that Vision can phase objects and people with him. So he can pick up the desk and phase through the wall with it to clobber a guy in the room. . .

Cool.

I cannot wait for Clobbering Time! It should be fun.

Thwipp!

Gonna get one of those. Picked up the mag yesterday, should be able to order.

Anyway, major NEWSFLASH TIME!!!

WOLVERINE EVISCERATES BATMAN!! READ ALL ABOUT IT!!

Wolverine debunks the "unbeatable through preptime" argument by ripping Batman a new one, taking him out with one shot.
"Well, bub, it took me a while t'realize, but teamwork is a hell of a lot better 'n frikkin' 'Prep Time'," Says once-loner Wolverine. "Me an' my buddy Quasar got t'gether t' solve our little Bat infestation problem, so he boosted me over t' the couch where Bats was hidin' and I ripped inta him knockin' him int' the wall an' takin' him out."

"I feel I really put in a good performance this time," Quasar said, "Not only did I help Wolverine eliminate Batman, but I also kept Flash trapped in a forcefield in between Cyclops's optic blasts."

Also key in the Marvel victory over DC was new team player The Vision, who kept fellow superstrong phaser Swamp Thing on his vegetable toes the whole time.
"The probability of my losing to Swamp Thing was .000999%," Vision said. "Especially with Black Panther tricking him into letting his guard down. After that, it was a simple matter of manipulating the mass of a vending machine to optimum efficiency and teamwork to defeat the Thing."

"All in all, I'd say it was a fight worth a good brewski," Wolverine concluded. "So what if they took out Wasp and one o' our medics? Anytime I c'n drag Cyke to actually drink a brew means we had a good tussle."

Has anyone else gotten really lucky and pulled out two veteran Spider-mans, a unigue Wasp, and a veteran Hulk. I was impressed
