Mutant Mayhem is now in stores. What'choo got?

Me, my prides so far are Longshot, Mimic, Veteran Cloak, Exp. Cable, and Veteran Vanisher with the help of Passenger.

It's not amazing, but all the characters in the booster seem to be pretty useful for their points at a glance

I bought some yesterday I didn't get anything to exciting.

E - Deadpool (happy about this one)

I opened one box and it was nothign but Rookies and that annoys me. But I did get the Rip It Up Feat card and I really wanted that and I got the ordinary day card.

Oh, man. I have the best luck ever today. I pulled not one, but TWO Lokis (promptly traded the second for Morgan LeFey from Critical Mass), but Gold Edition Wade Wilson and Ted Sallis too.

Man that is insane, the best luck I ever had was when Unleashed came out and I got 4 uniques in a row. I'm quite happy my comic book guy just traded my the feat cards I wanted (trick shot, fastball special, and automatic regen) for a rookie Spidey.

I haven't bought any clix since Critical Mass, but Mutant Mayhem might bring me back to clix. Also, I might get some Ultimates singles so I can play Ultimate X-Men or Brotherhood with Cyke and Wolvie. I mainly got out of Heroclix to play VS but now I might get both.

Mutant Maymem is a pretty good set, I think its much better then Ultimates. The only thing out of Ultimates I was really hyped for was Punisher and I got him and I use him in just about every game. I love MM mostly because of the new feat cards. I've been useing them like crazy.

I like Passenger alot. I use it in conjunction with Veteran Vanisher all the time.

I have passenger but haven't used it yet. It is a great thing to add to a team for only 5 points espicially since I use Dr. Fate alot. I've been using Trick Shot and Automatic Regeneration alot so far.

Dr. Fate flies. No need to use Passenger on him. Vanisher is perfect for it, especially the Veteran. With 14 phasing speed at 25 points, you can basically get anybody anywhere on the map for a very small cost.

Veteran Cloak's another good one, as long as you have a Green Lantern Corps figure on your team. That way, you can phase up to 8 people for 12 squares. It's beautiful.

Thats very true I didn't even think about that with Fate. I just recently got a vet. Cloak I've only used him once so far but he is a great piece. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought with the GL Corps team ablity you had to be able to fly to use? I thought my friend and I got into a debate about this and thats what he said.

You do, technically, but since Passenger allows Leap/Climbers and Phasers to carry people as if they were flying, then technically, Vet. Cloak could mimic Green Lantern, as could Vet Spider-Man or Experienced Black Cat.

that's not exactly right, the passenger text says that you may carry a single character. so the Corps ta can't work with it, i wish it could cuz it would be damn cool, but oh well

I think that would be right, considering it says that the feat cards are above all other Heroclix rules and it does say only 1.

Perhaps, perhaps not. I believe it only says you can carry one because basic rules say you can only carry one. But if you mimic a team ability allowing you to carry more than one... who's to say you can't?

it would be cool if it worked, but the question was asked on the wizkids main site, where a bunch of judges says it couldn't be done. it sucks but oh well, i'm super excited about the DARK PHOENIX BIG FIG that they announced will be a convention exclusive next year!!! plus a power cosmic Nova painted gold le!! woohoo

@palerider, ya aqua teen is great, i just got volume three on dvd!!

I'm not too excited about Dark Phoenix. Will probably be like Galactus and there will be little chance of getting it.

I'm still thinking of getting back into Heroclix, but I won't be as into it as before. I'm really into VS now, and I'm also trying out Overpower. I definately want to pick up some Ultimates sometime soon though.

The Ultimates figs I really want to get are:

1. Ultimate X-Men, especially Rookie wolvie and exp cyke
2. punisher
3. new cap

Yeah I'm not getting to excited about that Dark Phoniex just because I know it will be super rare and super expensive.

Yeah. I couldn't get my hands on Galactus, sadly. I managed to trade Kara Zor-El for the Cosmic Silver Surfer, but no dice on Galactus or Invisible Woman. Dark Phoenix, I might get excited once the sculpt is revealed.

HOLY GOD!! that is awesome!! That has got to be the best scuplt I've seen Heroclix related ever. I almost hate that it looks that good cause I'm going to want it now.

Unless Galactus will be available next year, I missed out on him, but come hell or high water, I am not missing Dark Phoenix.
