Marvel Now - Part 3

More like a case of "Dexter Soy has been drawing it less and less over time" syndrome. He's the only reason I haven't gone back and read all the issues I skipped before.

I liked the first issue, but not enough to drop something else for it. Soy's art wasn't fantastic but I didnt mind it.

Or The Walking Dead is coming to Marvel. :awesome:

Great more Marvel events...can we go at least one season without an event....

Is this an event? I thought it was just a thing Marvel hired George Romero to do. I doubt they would let it have major ramifications to continuity. It's probably more like 1602 or perhaps a direct installment to the Marvel Zombies line.

^^^Whoops, hold on. I read the article @ BC and Romero said awhile back that he was doing something with Marvel but NOT with their characters. It's a straight zombie comic by him.

That's what it looks like to me. Maybe "Age of the Dead "

That might be interesting. Just as long as it's not another of those crappy Marvel Zombies things.

Romero said he wasn't going to use Marvel heroes so that would disqualify it being a MZ related book. Unless it's a story that takes place in that universe but with normal people.

I've never understood why people love those Marvel Zombie books so much.

Cuz the first one was good......and so completely out there....then they over did it....like always.

Coming soon from Marvel: Contest of Sovereignty
"Summer is coming"

Ive been thinking about trying out Captain Marvel. And I think I have decided to drop several 3.99 titles after their first five or six issues(and look at getting trades for future issues) so I can actually buy some stuff outside of Marvel...

Just read the first trade. Kelly Sue writes Carol well enough but the story didn't really grab me - not terrible, just not all that interesting - and I didn't like the art. I may give the 2nd trade a chance when it comes out, but haven't decided one way or the other yet.

I never had any interest to try it. I heard the Ultimate Fantastic Four arc that introduced them was good, and then the first mini or two, but I just never cared enough to buy them.

No, UFF and the first mini were good. Corp just has his head up his Mjölnir.

So how about this business?

Seems kind of elaborate for a Human Torch ongoing.
