Huh, didn't know Silver Surfer could do that. Curious to see how this book plays out.
I don't like that it's voice activated like an Xbox One

He is a living weapon, and he's going solo once again, this time at the hands of Kaare Andrews.
Iron Fist: The Living Weapon debuts in April, 2014 from Marvel Comics, and Andrews is promising a "revenge-fueled martial arts epic" for Danny Rand's newest ongoing series. The dual threat is actually going quintuple threat on this series, planning to write, pencil, ink, color, and provide covers for the book. Hero Complex announced the series Wednesday morning, after a Tuesday afternoon one-word teaser from Marvel that just said "Weapon" and the writer/artist's name.
Andrews approach is a love letter to martial arts films, but with no regard for budget. He says his story would never fit on TV or film, but the creator, who has also worked as a director in Hollywood, wants it to remain cinematic in feel.
Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso agreed with the approach, telling HC, “The way I looked at Iron Fist, I thought … I’d love to have someone come in and tell a movie, just treat the reader like they’ve stepped into a cinema, they’re sitting down in a seat, the lights go down, the curtain comes up."
The story will tie directly to Iron Fist's origin, the mystical city of K'un-Lun, and the choices he made in becoming a hero. When Andrews looked deeper at his origin, he said, "I finally understood who this guy was, and its the guy who traded life for death." Alonso added that the new series will explore "where he stands in the universe, spiritually and physically."
In order to keep up with a monthly schedule, Andrews is doing the interior art all digitally for the first time on a project. Covers will still be drawn on paper, though, which he calls a "personal" experience that allows him to feel like "a real artist and not just a computer program."
Iron Fist: The Living Weapon, part of All-New Marvel NOW! comes to stores this April.
I'm surprised JewHob's not in here talking about the new Iron Fist on-going...

There's also a new Amazing Spider-Man book coming by Slott and Ramos. I'd post the promo pic but 1) I'm real lazy right now and 2) Marvel is asking sites to take down the image, so I don't know how the mods would feel about it.
Aw yiss, the world needs more Doop, X-Statix, and Milligan. Now if we could only get one of these teasers that say Face-Punch or Kick-splosion by Ellis.
