What If Marvel's What If...? - General Discussion

I definitely enjoyed this episode over Ep 1.
Good guy Thanos was great!
And I loved all the easter eggs in The Collectors lair.
Especially Cap's shield, and Mjolnir.
Through out the episode, I was wondering what Peter Quill would be up to in that Universe... I'm glad they showed it!
Working at DQ makes total sense!

why is T’Challa using the name Starlord here? Wasn’t that just a nickname Peter’s mother gave him or something? At least that’s what I recall the origin of the title being. So it makes no sense why he’s being called Starlord.
Wow, that never even occurred to me. Star Prince would have actually made more sense in this case, which I think was what John C. Reilly's character mistakenly called Quill in the first GOTG.

I was far less hyped for this episode than the last one. The concept of T'Challa as Starlord didn't appeal to me as much as Captain Carter did as much. But while I found Captain Carter's episode a lackluster retread of a 2hr movie condense to 30min, this T'Challa as Starlord one contained itself as a 30min adventure and just had more fun with the idea IMO. Major improvement

This was a better episode, but also had a lot of sadness knowing that this was Chadwick's final role.

I really hope this isn't also going to be a 'What would character B look like, doing everything Character A would or did do' episode.
Yeah I wouldn’t mind seeing something like “what if Cap got corrupted and became Hydra” or “if Hulk became the dominant personality”

It’s like they knew, that ScarJo will get beef with Disney.
This looks no way like her (swipe to right)

I've been looking forward to tomorrow's episode for a couple of weeks now ever since the Double Toasted review came out for the first three episodes and they said that the third one went pretty dark.

kinda sucks that it is not Scarlett voicing her I would have thought they had her voice work if recorded pre suit just as they had Chadwick voice work done before he passed.

First time we seen Betty In the MCU since 2008. Even though it’s in an alternate universe and in animated form.

There's 6 episodes left and according to the images and descriptions on IMDB:

Episode 4 - Doctor Strange / Evil Doctor Strange
Episode 5 - Thor / Star-Lord T'Challa ("What if Thor was banished to Earth but was still worthy of his mantle?")
Episode 6 - Iron Man / Killmonger
Episode 7 - Winter Soldier / Doctor Strange / Scarlet Witch / "Spider Man Supreme"
Episode 8 - Marvel Zombies
Episode 9 - "In an alternate timeline, Vision becomes an all-powerful android known as "Infinite Ultron" when merged with rival android Ultron. Now, it's up the newly-formed "Guardians of the Multiverse" to put an end to his reign before it's too late."

I feel like Ep 4 might translate to DrS:MoM

I wonder if that means we'll be seeing the Avengers dying again in Episode 9 since I'm assuming Infinite Ultron is based around "What if Ultron's plan worked in AOU?"

Probably.

I don't think episode 7 is correct on this list. We already know that "Spider-Man Supreme" or Spider-Man Zombie Hunter as the merchandise is listing him as is in the Zombie episode. Plus we know there's an episode with Gamora and Tony Stark on Sakaar
