Well, don't overreact over a small discussion in an empty thread at 2 A.M.

Anyways, Seth as Joker would be golden. IMO

No one else could or should play him. He'd totally be down for doing it too, he loves this stuff.

Robert Picardo could make a decent Udina as well.

He loves it, and theres probably not many offers heading his way :hehe:

Who should play Jenkins? Hmm...what actor do I hate the most in this world and would love to see him die in the opening scene of ME1....

Ooh good choice. I was thinking the dude who plays Joffrey in Game of Thrones... what a horrible actor.

I think he's a GREAT actor. He's made us hate Joffrey, which is what we are supposed to do. We want to see his little head end up on a pike next to Ned's, and that's why he's so good.

I think its the writing that makes us hate him... some of his deliveries and stuff are just like wtf to me... MAYBE its because I haven't read the books and don't realize how the character is actually meant to be.

Ok, so here is Mass Effect 2. Some of my choices are unconventional. Regarding Mordin, while the voice may not be an exact match, I believe this particular actor brings an otherworldy energy that a Salarian like Mordin should have. Plus his head shape is kind of similar to Mordin’s.

Thane’s actor, I wanted to have a certain sense of maturity about him, thus I went older. Obviously someone else would have to do the stunting, but I feel like this actor could nail the calm, stoic, wise voice.

For Legion, the voice is going to be synthesized no matter who plays the role and the facial mocap won’t matter much as Legion does not have a face. A big part of playing Legion will be unspoken acting through body language. This particular actor is the best at that.

Miranda Lawson – Yvonne Strahovski

Jacob Taylor – Anthony Mackie

Dr. Mordin Solus – Matt Smith

I've read the books. He's exactly how Joffrey should be, except even crueler. Tommen and Myrcela are sweet, innocent children manipulated by their mother, but Joffrey is bats*** insane and Cersei has a horrible time trying to control him.

Miranda is a "DUH!", and Matt Smith as Mordin would make me the happiest little Who fan ever!

Damn Matt, you are on a roll brother.

and Speed, I just started book 1... about 100 pages in. Good stuff so far. and thanks for clarifying he is supposed to be that ridiculous lol

Thanks guys.

Part 2 of ME2

Now mind you, Zaeed and Kasumi are more or less joke castings. Both actors look spot on, but I don’t consider either of my casting choices to be much of actors. I cast them strictly because of their physical similarities as I doubt Zaeed or Kasumi would make the cut for the movie (hell, I’m not even sure that Samara and Morinth will).

Zaeed Massani – Jean Claude Van Damme

Kasumi Goto – Miranda Cosgrove

EDI – Tricia Helfer

The Illusive Man – Martin Sheen

And that is ME2….I will post ME3 soon.

I wouldn't mind one bit if Kasumi or Zaeed werent even in it... Zaeed is just funny. "lets go save the galaxy and be big goddamn heroes"

Never thought I would see Miranda Cosgrove suggested for anything, but I like it. :awesome:

"Dr. Chakwas, please report to the Observation Deck! Kasumi is overdosing on hardcore drugs!!!"

All of the choices are well done. TiM as Martin Sheen well that's kind of a given :p Who else would be Timmy?

Finally, ME3. Some may be wondering why I didn’t use the actress I chose for Eve for Benezia and it is because I was saving her for this very reason. Eve needs a commanding presence and voice. She needs to be the type of actress who you believe can keep Wrex in check. I can think of no one better. Also, I stuck Adams in here. I forgot him in the ME1 casting call and he doesn’t have much of a role in ME1 anyway, where as his role in ME3 is fairly substantial.

So here is the final part of my casting call….Mass Effect 3

James Vega – Jesse Garcia

Javik – Djimon Hounsou

Steve Cortez – Coby Bell

Samantha Traynor – Reshma Shetty

Engineer Greg Adams – Temuera Morrison

Kai Leng – Mark Dacascos

Eve – Sigourney Weaver

Admiral Shala’Raan Vas Tonbay – Shohreh Aghdashloo

Primarch Adrien Victus – Hugo Weaving

Easter Egg Casting: FemShep - Annie Wersching

And that is all folks. Thank you for all of your feedback. I look forward to reading your casting suggestions.

Jesse Garcia looks kinda tiny compared to Vega...

Meh, the guy from the Twilight movies was pretty scrawny before he roided up. I'm sure he could put on twenty pounds. Though to be honest, if these movies were ever made, smart money says that Vega would be barely more than a quick cameo. Unless Freddie Prinze Jr. has a career resurgence in the form of directing and makes these movies, Vega would probably be one of the first things on the cutting room floor.

Yeah, but Lautner was just coming out of puberty and his body was naturally changing. Garcia is 30, and not everyone can do what Tom Hardy does. He also looks way too short, because I imagined Vega to be 6'+
