For some reason.. Ever since TASM I've pictured Emma Stone as a good Liara. As for Shepard.. I could see either Sam Worthington or Tom Hardy in the role.

I think a big part of casting Shepard would be finding a relatively unknown actor to fill the role, rather than one of Hollywood's regular action leads. Whomever takes on the role needs to be Shepard, not just some meathead blowing stuff up like they did in their last 5 movies.

I think Sutherland would make a much better Saren.

Hmm, that could be good.

And in all honesty, it wouldn't surprise me at all if we got Saren but no Garrus in a Hollywood flick. I'd imagine some blockhead writer or director somewhere would decide that if a Turian is the lead villain then there shouldn't be another Turian running around "confusing people."

Which is why I think Hardy would be great.. He's not what I'd call a household name (even after TDKR) and he's got great acting chops.

That's also a distinct possibility. I think Tali would be the first companion alien they'd approve for the film, since it'd be far easier to costume her than Liara or Wrex.

Not saying it'd be difficult, just noting that with Tali all you have to do is throw someone inside a suit. Boom, done. Could even put a stand-in in the costume and let the "talent" just do the voice, if required.

Well if they decide to do a film they could easily just plug that character into the storyline. This is an adaptation, they get to do what they want.

ME2's final assault was neat, and it took a lot of good steps to "show" us Shepard being the leader of his/her merry band.

You wouldn't believe it. I had zero casualties and then found out today when I tried to import that I must have wiped my save file. Was Lvl 30 with everything unlocked and perfect game with everything answered as I wanted. So I just rushed through the compulsory missions again today from about halfway through the game so I can start ME3, but this time I don't have Legion at all..guess I didn't activate him on the Normandy.

And Legion is your only crew that didn't make it? It'll have a huge effect on some ME3 mission later on, i'm sorry to say.

The only crew member that died on me was Jacob.

I'm about 5 hours in but I'm playing on the easiest level possible just so I can see the whole story asap. After will go back and complete the Insanity ME2 save file properly with all characters (Legion was pretty cool too) and then import that for Insanity ME3 with everything exactly as I want it. It's great so far. Looks & plays even better than ME2 which was already excellent.

Still not seen a crew member die in a cutscene yet though. Maybe I should let some get killed on purpose just to see what it's like!

My advice is...if you're not satisfied with how things turned out for your ME2 storyline, go finish that first, THEN start ME3 properly...taking your time.

Otherwise, much of the impact of the ME3 storyline will be lost on you. And that would be a shame, since the storyline of ME 3 is it's greatest strenght.If you're like me, you'll find later on that the game most memorable moments will not be it's many amazing battle scenes, but the quiet character moments...trust me! those moments will have much more impacts than the action scenes.

I'm going to go back to get Legion and do his loyalty mission & redo the ending. Not going to do all the side quests again though..couldn't give 2 ****s about random characters but I need EVERY member who's ever served on my crew (& possible to be alive) to be in the game somewhere.

This fan-made game is in alpha at the moment and pretty rough, but there's some potential here. Hopefully it comes together because I would absolutely love to play a ME game set in this genre.
