I thought the Adept melee class was going to be a "psionic blade" of some sorts?

now it's just some kind of "blast punch?"

Well everyone is apparently going to have access to the Omni-blade so it might be redundant to have two separate melee strikes that use a blade.

I knew they had a panel, but the early articles I read failed to mention that it would be following the first film. Which is cool with me.

I doubt the movie will actually happen in any case.

The Gears movie didn't happen, the Halo movie didn't happen and that had Peter freaking Jackson attached. I think the $$$ will keep ME from actually hitting the big screen.

Kinda different cases.

I feel I can confidently say that the ME movie will be good for the same reason I feel I can confidently say the AC movies will be good..... The actual games developers have full creative control over their film franchise... That hasn't happened yet.
