also, since the movie will be based on the 1st game, perhaps they can throw us a curveball and make the protagonist Fem Shep instead.

it would be sooooo predictable if they made the default male Shep the movie protagonist................

Well, since they're basing it directly on the first game, all of it will be predictable, right? Changing Shepard's gender won't change that.

but still, it would mix things up a bit if they made Fem Shep the movie protagonist.

however, they probably want to establish Ashley, Liara, or Tali as the love interest.....so most likely it will be male Shep.

Would LOVE if the movie Shepard was female. I've played both games with just the femShep and loved it much more than maleShep (i tried to play as him but the voice wad awful). We need more female action stars. This would be a great start. Would harken back to Ripely.

I must say......I'm glad they've added more hairstyles for Shep!

it would be nice if, this time around, we are able to pick default Shep ( male or female ) and customize from there.

there's nothing more frustrating than otherwise liking the default face model except one or two details ( like hair, eye color, etc. ) but finding yourself unable to change just those few things.

and of course, the other presets neve look quite as good as the defaults ( here's hoping that changes too ).

The movie will be predictable no matter what for game fans & might as well go for the safe choice Default Male Shep since he is on all 3 covers & other advertising stuff for Mass Effect & will be the most recognizable

even though it seems likely that blonde Shep will be the "cover girl" Shep, I would still like the other models they have up there to be available as presets.
