I need to stop looking, its making my not having this game unbearable.

Apparently if you are apart of the new dashboard beta (I am) you will receive a the beta.. People are saying that it's a staggered roll out.

My three are Canon Shepard A, Canon Shepard B, and my renegade human supremacist space republican Femshep.

Anyway, I just saw this:

I wonder what the other two modes will be like.

Edit: And here's the answer:

Action Mode: For those who want to emphasize action and combat and minimize story management. Action mode will set automatic replies in conversation and a normal difficulty.

Story Mode: For those who want to emphasize story immersion and minimize combat pressure. Story mode will set manually-selectable replies in conversation and a minimal combat difficulty.

RPG Mode: For those who want to explore both realms of story and combat. RPG mode will set manually-selectable replies in conversation and a normal combat difficulty.
I'll probably play RPG mode, since that's basically what ME and ME 2 have been. I don't know why anyone would want to cut out either of the two things the ME franchise excels at.

I can't wait for people to start using 'Action Mode' as evidence of Bioware's 'dudebro-ification.'

Options are good though, even though I can't think of anyone who would want to play "action mode" I would imagine that someone, somewhere, would... And they can. Apparently there's another screen where you can even further customize how the game is played for you (right down to whether or not Shepard's helmet is hidden during cut scenes). From the little bit I've seen, everyone should be able to find the way they want to play the game.

I'll probably RPG mode first, and then story mode for subsequent playthroughs.

Yeah, I tend to find the combat segments pretty boring during later play-throughs in the previous games.

So... Did anyone else tear up at the end of the leaked opening of the game?

Nope. I don't plan on watching it until March. You see, I have something called self control. Not everyone is so weak willed as you. Not everyone needs to gobble up spoilers the second they hit the net.

The beginning of the game of you say...?

Nope! Too many people simply don't have any restraint these days, I tell you what. I imagine some people might give in to temptation, but not me! No siree!

Oh, god... NO... I can hear the siren song of spoilers calling out to me...

**** it. Give me a link.

Same here, I always get excited about my second play-through until I hit some of the weaker/mundane missions. So I'll probably dive into Story Mode. I just hope there isn't a trophy for playing each mode. :cmad:

Same here. The RPG stuff is what really turned me on to the game when I played ME2, plus I want a more complete experience when I go through it.

Just watched the leaked footage

Ends with Wrex, Garrus, and Liara?

...takes me back to ME1 :hrt::hrt::hrt:

I can't tell if you're actually insulting me or joking. I'm not posting the link. I know others don't wanna be spoiled, so I won't post it. And spoilers don't really have an effect on me. When I read something, or see something with really poor quality, like the video, which cut off half the screen, it makes me more excited to see the final product.

Notice the segmented health bar?

The only thing that matters is that it no longer regenerates itself automatically, only to the closest bar! Love it!
wh, wh
WHAT?

Health doesn't regenerate automatically to the fullest. See the 5 red bars? It only regenerates within the current bar (out of 5). You need to use First Aid to fix your health fully.

Great. I love that kind of health system. Best of both worlds.
