I don't believe that ME3 is the end anyway.. Hence "hang onto those ME3 saves. "

As long as Shepard doesn't wake up in bed beside Liara and she asks him what's wrong and the camera zooms in on him and he says "it was all a dream... Only a dream" I will be fine with it.

That would be a better ending then what we got

What major choices did we really make?

Let the Rachni Queen live.. Or kill her, then the ending stuff with the Council and who gets elected.. Anderson or *****ebag.

In 2 the choices pretty much involved sqaud stuff and the ending choice...

Other than that I can't think if to many earth shattering choices that I'd want a follow through on.

I've said before if the ending is nothing more than Shepard continuing off with his life/riding into the sunset I won't be upset. I didn't really have these epic expectations...
 
Someone will be in for a shock after their first play through. I am glad I know now to at least not get pissed after my first play through

The entire Mass Effect story was in Sweet Tooth's mind.
 
I am spoiler free *knocks on wood* but I have to admit MC's opinion is worrying me. What could be that bad?

Anyway, goddamn, launch trailer is so beautiful. And it has Mordin, Jack, and Legion appearances too!
 
Can all talk about the endings be put in spoilers? Seriously...

I don't get mad at video game endings...

Only time I did was with Superior Mario Boos. 2. I don't care how "bad" some think it is.. Again, Mass Effect 2 is looked on as perfect by many but I know so many that HATE that ending.

The only thing that would kind of annoy me would be no matter howbhard you try the Reapers win in the end and the galaxy is reset back to square one.. But since Bioware already said that IS a possible ending its obviously not "the" ending.

It's not bad it's just disappointing. :/

And yeah that launch trailer is way too awesome. :up:
 
Considering I've had the general idea of the ending spoiled, I don't see anything bad about how it ends. I'm a bit pissed I wound up stumbling across the spoilers, but I suppose I should have known better by now.

I have no context, but unless BioWare ends up stumbling to the ending like a drunk stumbling down the street, I can't see myself hating it or thinking it sucks.

So without citing any details - Bensta, I wouldn't worry one bit. Or anyone else, for that matter.
 
I want you guys to save right before the ending part. After you get the first ending. Reload & make the different choices. Then come back
 
No thanks. I'll make the choices that particular Shepard would make and let it play out that way. It's how I've played both games to this point, and the third won't be any different.

I don't much care how many endings there are or how different they are. It's the context, and it's the sense of fulfillment on the way there. As I wrote, outside of fumbling the ball on the way there and making it feel as if the journey no longer belongs to the particular Shepard, I'm not seeing a problem with how an ending plays out.
 
Donut, relax. You tend to always blow things way out of proportion. Play the game like Bioware intended it to be played. I'm sure it will all be groovy in context.

I've read the endings.. and if they are true.. I'll love them. It's my style and honestly what I expected.
 
I read the endings, and I have no real problems with them. I'll have to see them played out, of course, but I can't imagine outright hating them.

Also I'm never going to the Bioware boards again, where people who say they don't mind the endings are accused of trying to piss off the "real fans" who hate them.
