I read the endings, and I have no real problems with them. I'll have to see them played out, of course, but I can't imagine outright hating them.

Also I'm never going to the Bioware boards again, where people who say they don't mind the endings are accused of trying to piss off the "real fans" who hate them.

Dude, dont you know? To be a Bioware fan you pretty much have to hate everything they've done since KotOR.. Seriously.. That's the attitude of "true" Bioware fans.

I've read the endings.. and if they are true.. I'll love them. It's my style and honestly what I expected.

The only problem I have with them is they're all bittersweet. I wish there were good and bad endings too. But to be fair I should have been expecting something like this as well seeing as how most import bonuses in ME2 were nothing more than little conversations or e-mails; which I do appreciate.

lol it's the way of the internet.

I just took a mental step back and I do think reading about all of the outcomes at once did skew my opinion. That didn't go well in combination with my extremely high expectations lol.

I pretty much knew the company wouldn't have the guts to end the 3rd with 2 or 3 distinctly different endings because then how would they make a 4th? If this makes enough of course they would want another and it's too 'complex' to make a game that is literally 2 games inside it. So one ending with 'minor' differences is all we get. I am a little ticked off that no matte who you romance only the first games romances count. That is a little jerkish!

Welp, seeing as I love Jade Empire, ME1 and ME2, Dragon Age: Origins, and even like Dragon Age II a fair amount, I'm not a true fan.

I still won't play their Sonic game, though

The endings will probably play out well. But it just sucks that they are all we get.

Multiplayer content is usually cheaper to put out than single player content, it would be logical to bang alot of that out.

That is a slightly bad analogy as cutting off your taste buds does not tell you what lobster would taste like before eating it. Which is exactly what reading the end spoilers for a game is.

I will still enjoy the game greatly... why should I spend 100$ more of my money on a game series if I don't like the ending of the product? I am the kind of person that reads the last few pages of a book before buying it and it doesn't spoil the ride of getting there. Yet if I dislike the end I'll wait for a price drop.


edit: I forgot this is a multiplayer game. GAH!

No, it's actually a brilliant analogy since the ME games are widely regarded purely worth playing for not only the story, but it's personal context to your Shepard, playstyle and world.

Reading all that stuff beforehand is just undermining one of the main reaons to play the games at all.

Well I haven't read the whole thing. Just the ending that popped up a few days ago.

If I were reading about how people liked the endings and whatnot I wouldn't have bothered digging. I just had to read what was so bad. While it's not terrible, and I can actually envision them being very powerful, the endings completely disregard player choice.

Outside of the demo opening and the endings I know very little about the overall game sooo now that I know what little I can expect of the end to this trilogy I can enjoy the final journey a lot more.

I truly disliked the Multiplayer aspect of the demo... do they plan on adding any more game types or am I going to be stuck just not liking it?

Well it's fleshed out with more enemy types, maps, objective stuff etc and also it's all tied together with cutscenes and story stuff, to link it into the SP. Things like getting briefed by Shepard etc.

I guess the good news is you don't ever have to play it.

A game like this (with diffrent classes combining skills) probably would have suited a streamlined DOTA tower defence game. Horde mod is a very lazy multiplayer mod to shove into games imo.

Horde mode is no fun for me since I am disabled and people don't want that kind of thing on their team.

Because not everyone is you, lol. So calm down a little. I like ME series, but spoilers for this series have never bothered me. Now if this was Uncharted 4, I'd be ten miles away from any spoilers.
